I am a pear
I run all the miles
But every brownie shows
I'm always tucking
Trying to make my stomach flat
I lift all the weights
And my arms
Remain untoned
I tell myself I'm pretty
But I can't stop worrying
About how I look
Even if I feel lovely
I'll feel fat all day
So heavy and round and fake
And no matter how many
Miles I run
Or steps I climb
I am always a pear
And I can't see how that
Can ever be perfect.
