It aches to be held
Softly and tenderly
I long to be in love
To feel butterflies again
More than the world
I want a passionate kiss
One that steals breath away
Makes eyes sparkle
I want romance, sweet romance
Candles and flowers and hugs
Chocolate on bad days
And adoration on good ones
I want to be lavished
With sweet words and caresses
I want to be told I'm lovely
I'm so past desperate
To not be sad and lonely.
