Confusion filled the room as everyone sat around the table in the room Fury had called them all to. It had been almost two weeks since the battle of New York, two weeks since the Avengers had all gone their separate ways to carry on with their own lives. Two weeks-- much sooner than they all thought they would see each other again.

"Do you know what's going on?" Steve directed his question towards Natasha since Venetia wasn't in attendance for the meeting, nor was Thor.

"I only pretend to know everything, Cap." Natasha gave a small shake of her head. Her lips formed a thin line as she looked around at the other men seated at the table, only stopping when they landed on her fellow spy. "Where's Sarafian?"

"Don't know," Clint shrugged, having been wondering where the raven-haired woman was himself. "We haven't spoke since I dropped her off at home the other week. Though I'd bet all my money that she's nowhere near there anymore. Probably packed it all up and moved to Denmark or something."

"Where's Fury?" Tony groaned, having grown bored of sitting around nearly twenty minutes earlier. "Some of us have lives to get back to."

"Sorry if I'm boring you, Stark." Fury's words were laced with sarcasm as he and Hill made their way into the room. "But something of importance has been brought to our attention and I thought you'd all like to know."

"What? Did Loki give Thor the slip already?" Tony rolled his eyes. Fury only nodded towards Hill, prompting the woman to project pictures onto the monitor before the gathered Avengers. All of their brows furrowed in confusion, the photos being of the tarnished remains of a house-- one that had been burned to the ground. "We investigate arson now?"

"We were alerted four days ago that there had been an unreported house fire almost two weeks ago. Locals thought it was just an accident, but they started thinking different when the family in the house next door was found murdered." Fury shared with the team as pictures changed on the screen. Now they found themselves staring at the bodies of a family of four-- a middle-aged couple, an older woman, and a young boy. All of their bodies had been riddled with bullets that torn apart their flesh. "Not really common in that area, a lot of tourists travel through there this time of year."

"Where is it?" Natasha questioned as her eyes scanned over the pictures of the bodies, trying to identify the type of bullets that were used.

"Positano, Italy." At Fury's words Clint's brows shot up to his hairline, easily recognizing the city's name. After all, he had been there himself only two weeks ago. Fury allowed his one good eye to drift towards the marksman, well aware of what thoughts were running through his head. "Familiar with the city, are you, Barton?"

"Where is she?" Clint questioned his boss, his voice hard.

"Her location is unknown as of now," Fury admitted.
