"All our work is gone." Bruce frowned as they stood around the lab later that evening. Everyone was there with the exception of Thor, the god having taken off the moment he noticed one of the robots had escaped with Loki's scepter. "Ultron cleared out. He used the Internet as an escape hatch."

"Ultron," Steve shook his head at the name.

"He's been in everything. Files, surveillance," Natasha frowned. "Probably knows more about us than we know about each other."

"Why didn't the fire fry his circuits before he could escape?" Venetia asked no one in particular.

"That doesn't matter," Rhodes shook his head. "He's in your files, he's in the Internet. What if he decides to access something a little more exciting?"

"Nuclear codes," Hill's eyes widened at the thought.

"Look, we need to make some calls, assuming we still can," Rhodes glanced towards Tony. The Stark man hadn't said a word as he stared over the remains of the robot Ultron had occupied.

"Nukes? He said he wanted us dead," Natasha recalled.

"Actually, he said he wanted us extinct," Venetia corrected her. "Little bit of a difference there."

"He also said he killed somebody," Clint pointed out.

"There wasn't anyone else in the building," Hill shook her head.

"Yes, there was," Tony disagreed as he pulled up a hologram-- Jarvis.

"This is insane," Bruce shook his head in disbelief at how torn apart Jarvis' program was. The once complex and nearly perfect hologram computer structure was now in pieces— as though a tornado had ripped it apart.

"Jarvis was the first line of defense," Steve crossed his arms over his chest. "He would have shut Ultron down. It makes sense."

"No," Bruce argued. "Ultron could have assimilated Jarvis. This isn't strategy. This is rage."

"Well hello," Venetia's eyes widened as she watched Thor storm into the lab. The blonde made a beeline for Tony, picking him up off the floor by his throat.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Steve stepped towards the other men.

"I thought you all worked through your anger issues on the hellicarrier?" Venetia muttered under her breath at the scene playing out before her.

"It's going around," Clint commented from beside the pyromaniac brunette, referring to Ultron's rage.

"Come on, use your words, buddy." Tony choked out as Thor held him against the wall.
