The next few weeks went by rather quickly. No one has mentioned to me about me sneaking out, so I got the green flag on that. I haven't heard from Aiden or seen him on the cameras or anywhere really, he hasn't even been at school. I sometimes watch my old friends at school hanging out and living like normal. I miss them....a lot, but I love having my family around and that's all I need. Sure it would be nice to have my friends also, but this isn't a perfect world and I know I will never be able to have both things. I also have noticed Casey meeting up with Sabrina and Jason. I guess that's how they found out about my birth name. Don't get me wrong I have made new friends here but it's just not the same without them around.
*Knock*knock*knock*
"Come in" I shout as the door swings open and in comes Christian with Rachel following close behind.
"What are you doing sitting at your desk! You should be getting ready!" Rachel shouts and I look at her confused.
"Ready for what exactly? It's only 11:30" they both gasp at my comment and look stunned at my reply.
"For the Gala of course!" Rachel responds
"It's a full day preparation. One of the biggest parties of the year. It's the only time all the gangs have a truce to just drink, party, do games, and then once it ends we all go back to our normal rivalries." Chris tells me and I just nod and tell them ok. I like to party and all, but I don't see why I need to start getting ready now when the party is 5 hours away.
"Ok so first we must go looking for our dresses then do our hair and then accessorize and do makeup and we need to do this quickly so get up and meet me downstairs," Rachel tells me and swirls my chair around and pushes me to the closet.
I groan as I look into my closet and look for an outfit to put on. I figured that since it doesn't matter what I wear now I just grabbed a shirt and jeans. I met the girls downstairs to see them all waiting for me.
"It's about time you got down here now come on," Rachel says and we all leave to the mall.
After about a 20 minute drive we arrived at the mall. When we got there Rachel immediately dragged me to one shop that she had been going on and on about. The shop was filled with big fancy dresses of all colors and designs. It wasn't really my kind of style but Rachel insisted that this was the place to find our dresses. When we walked in, I felt like I had just walked into princess diaries or something because the place was filled with tiaras and necklaces and of course dresses. As I was looking around at the different styles of dresses, Rachel was talking to the sales lady and the lady was nodding along like she knew exactly what she was talking about then she went in the back and brought out 2 dresses. The lady handed the dresses to Rachel and Rachel came skipping towards me. She handed me one and pointed towards the dressing rooms. She told me to try on the dress and she was going to try on hers.
I entered the dressing room and hung up the dress. I unzipped the tan covering that was around it, and saw a dark purple roughly dress with silver diamonds at the top and a little on the side and it has a black corner that balanced it all out. It was a beautiful dress. I stripped out of my current clothes and put on the dress. My hair was currently in a ponytail, but I could still tell that it matched great with my reddish colored hair. I was too busy paying attention to how it all fit together that I forgot that I was supposed to show Rachel.

(Cassy's POV)
It's been a few weeks now since Aiden told us to stop looking for Scarlet. He hasn't told us much as to what happened, only that she fooled us and shes with the enemy. I don't believe that though, there has to be more to the story. Aiden has been very mopey and stomping around like something more happened, and I plan on finding out tonight at the gala. I went to my closet and grabbed a baby blue dress that had a sheer black coating on the top and black bows throughout the bottom. I paired it with black heels and a cristal blue necklace.

I had bought this dress the moment I found out about the gala. In hopes of finding out more about Scarlet and everyone else in this gang life. I don't know what happened to Scarlet, or why she left. All I know is what Jason and Sabrina have told me, and I know that's not the full story, and I'm determined to find out the truth.
(Aiden's POV)
I don't know what to do. Tonight I have to go to this damn Gala, and most likely I'll see her standing side by side with fucking Christopher and Xavier. I don't think I can handle seeing them all together. Acting like they're the perfect family when I know that they pushed Scarlet my way just to hurt me. worst of all, I have to see Scarlet and act like everything is just fine when in reality I'm far from fine.
"Aiden! Why aren't you getting ready? We only have two hours until the gala." Chelsie yells at me as she enters my office.
"Chelsie it doesn't take long to get dressed," I tell her, and I can hear her sigh as she slams my office door shut, and twenty minutes later she comes storming back into my office with a tux outfit in her hand.
"Chelsie, what are you doing?" I ask her as she stares at me extending her hands out.
"Get Ready. Now Aiden. I know you are going through some shit but...."
"Chelsie! Language!" I shout at her and she rolls her eyes at me as she continues talking.
"but whatever it is you need to leave this office go to the Gala and have some fun," she tells me and I know she's right.
"fine," I tell her and I get up to get dressed. Chelsie is very dramatic sometimes, but she's almost always right.
When I got back to my room I put on the tux that Chelsie had brought me. It was a dark wine red tuxedo with a black inseam and paired it with a black tie and black pants. I slicked my hair back and left my room. I went over to Chelsie's room and stood in front of her pointing my hands out so she could see me dressed.
"See I'm dressed, now can I head back over to my office?" I ask her and she walks around me inspecting every aspect of me.
"am I good?" I ask her and all she does is continue staring at me.
"yeah alright you look good, but no more working at least for tonight. Ok, Aiden?" she looks at me with pleading eyes.
"Alright fine. Just for tonight though," I tell her and she starts jumping for joy.
"Great now get out I have to get ready," she tells me and she pushes me out of her room. I can't believe she made me get changed before she even started. Now, what am I going to do for the next hour and a half?
