Kiara and Cassandra wandered around the mall, going in and out of stores. They looked at everything that had the opposite appeal of what Kiara was currently wearing. Cassandra took Kiara to all the great clothing stores that she knew had a lower price than what it should be. While Casey showed Kiara some outfits the clothes Casey had bought, Kiara wasn't allowed to see. She picked out all of Kiara's new clothes, and she refused to let Kiara know what style she was getting, not till they got to her house, at least. When they got to Casey's house, she raced up the stairs.

"Hurry up, slowpoke! I want to see you in your new clothes!" Casey shouted halfway up the stairs. Kiara couldn't help but laugh and follow her up the stairs, trying to keep up with the excited girl. Kiara entered the bedroom Casey had disappeared into and was amazed at the decor. Everything was like a perfect mix of a modern and vintage look. Kiara set the bags down at the foot of the queen-sized bed and continued to look around the room. A 3-D looking purple rose painting was hanging above the bed, and framed photos of what Kiara assumed was Cassandra's family were on the opposite wall.

"Alright, so I think we should dye your hair first and then try on the clothes so that we know exactly how the clothes will look on you," Casey stated as she came out of the connected bathroom, looking down at the box of red dye in her hands. Casey looked up at Kiara, waiting for a response. Though, when she did, she noticed the almost sad expression on Kiara's face as she looked around the room. Not wishing to pry, Casey bent down, grabbing the bags, and pulled Kiara into the bathroom, demanding for Kiara to sit as she pointed to a chair she had previously brought in next to the sink.

Once Kiara was sitting in the chair, Cassandra began fiddling with her hair until it was all done. After about an hour of washing, drying, and waiting for it to dry, Kiara's hair was finished, with a curled styling.

"Cass, this looks amazing! Where did you learn to do this?" Kiara asked in awe, with her fingers lightly running through her freshly curled hair.

"I don't know. I just always wanted to be able to do everything fashion-related." Cassandra replied as she looked over her work, then reached behind them, grabbing an outfit and placing it in Kiara's lap.

"Well, I can tell you that you are good at hair," Kiara said with absolute certainty, causing Casey to smile proudly.

"Thanks. Now, go and try on your outfits! I can't wait to hear what you think of them," Cassandra says, pulling Kiara up out of the chair and pushing her to the enormous walk-in closet with the bags of clothes in her hands.

Once Kiara disappeared into the closet, Cassandra turned to her speaker and synced her phone to it, turning on one of her favorite playlists. When Kiara heard the music start, she laughed to herself, remembering how Sabrina would act when Kiara would put on her music. Kiara and Cassandra sang along to the songs, danced around, and tried on all the clothes they had bought. As Kiara was putting on an electric blue shirt, she heard Casey call out over the music.

"Oh, I have been meaning to ask, where do you go to school?" Kiara stopped her movements and thought of how she was going to respond. She stepped out of the closet and showed Casey the blue outfit, then responded.

"Well, since I'm new in town, I haven't found a school to go to yet," Kiara answered nervously.

"You can come to my school then! That way you will be starting school with a friend. It will be so much fun!" Casey shouted enthusiastically, jumping in the air, causing Kiara to laugh.

"That sounds great, but I don't have any papers. I'm, kind of, living on my own." Kiara told Casey as she started to fidget.

"That's alright. I can make a call to my dad and ask him to get you into my school. Now, go try on your last outfit. I think you're really going to love it." Casey said to Kiara as Kiara went back into the closet to change again.

The next outfit for her to try on was her favorite. It was edgy and cool and the complete opposite of what she used to wear. She knew once she put it on that it was the outfit she was going to wear. It was a black strapless crop top, a leather jacket, black leather pants, and heeled black boots. Kiara walked out of the closet with a huge grin on her face as she showed Casey.

"Oh my god. You look amazing in that outfit! You have to wear that tomorrow for school. All the guys will be falling at your feet!" Kiara laughed at Casey's comment and agreed with her.

"Yay! Now let's get you enrolled at Roosevelt high school!" Casey went over to her computer and called her dad, telling him all about her new friend, Scarlet. By the end of the night, Kiara had a whole new look, a new friend, and a new high school to go to, guaranteeing Kiara the opportunity to continue as a regular student and still go to college to get a career that she wanted. Kiara wasn't able to get the number of High School credits she had at her original school, but she did get the number of credits that an average junior has. When midnight hit, they were both drained from their day of fun and decided it was probably a good idea that they went to bed.

"I'm gonna head out, but I will see you tomorrow at school," Kiara told Casey, grabbing the bags of clothes.

"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow." Kara left to her hotel room, and when she got there, Kiara realized that she didn't find a job or a new apartment, and she has to check out tomorrow. The only things she got done were changing her appearance, finding a school to go to, and getting a new phone.

As Cassandra laid in her room, she thought about how much fun the day had been. She could tell that they were going to be friends right when they met. What Cassandra didn't understand was why Scarlet wanted to change her entire display. Scarlet said she didn't like the current way she looked, but she was pretty before, so Casey knew there must be some story there. She also knew Kiara would tell her when she was ready and that tomorrow would be the beginning of something great.
