[Scarlet's POV]

A few days have passed since my run-in with Queen B, and it is now Friday. Aiden and I have been talking on the phone a lot also, and he doesn't seem so bad. He's actually really sweet and I have gotten to know him really well. Me, Cass, Aiden, Sebastian, and Mark have been hanging out a lot lately.

I put on a white shirt, blue jeans, black heeled boots, and threw on my black leather jacket. I brushed my hair and put on some lip gloss. I texted Aiden to come pick me up at the cafe and walked over.

I waited about 10 minutes when Aiden's black Camaro pulled up and parked in the parking lot. I walked outside and got in the car.

"Hey, Aiden."

"Hey Red. How's it going?" Aiden said. Red is his nickname for me. I know real creativity, but I don't mind it.

"Good. How about you?"

"Great now" he responded. I smiled at him and looked out the window.

"Hey, can I ask you a question?" I turned to look at him and saw that he had a serious face. It kind of made me nervous.

"Sure. what's up?" I asked a little hesitatingly

"How come every time I drop you off or pick you up we have to meet up somewhere? How come I can't ever come over to where you live?" Why did he want to know where I lived? I looked back out the window debating on what to say. I hadn't thought about that.

"Well, it's not like I don't want you to come over, it's just" I paused for a second laundering on what to say and continued answering his question.

"My apartment is still a mess and since I have only been in town for a week I haven't quite settled in yet, but you can come over this weekend. Yeah, I'll invite you, Cass, Sebastian, and Mark over to watch a movie and hang out. how does that sound?"

"OK. I'm down," he said.

"Great." Then we pulled up to the school.

All-day I had been thinking about what I was going to do. I had been saving up my money to get me an apartment, but now I have to find a cheap apartment by tomorrow. Right after school I went to work I told my boss about my situation and she agreed to give me an advance on my paycheck as long as I worked it off. I worked until about 10, which is when the café closed. I locked up and left. I started walking around town looking for an apartment. I looked at around 8 different apartments, and none of them was the right one. I went to one last apartment complex and automatically knew that this was the one. It had 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, a small kitchen, which is perfect for me considering I am not the best cook, and a living room with just enough space. What was even better, was that it was only 123 dollars every other month. I went back down to the front office and filled out the paperwork and everything to finalize me getting the apartment.

It was now midnight, and I was finally able to settle down. I went into one of the bedrooms, dropped my duffel bag of stuff on the floor, and plopped down onto the bed. The bed was so soft and comfortable that I fell asleep as soon as I hit the bed. I didn't even have the chance to change into my pajamas or take off my makeup. I just knocked out without a care in the world how I ended up looking like in the morning.

The Next Morning

I woke up and it took me a while to realize where I was. Then I remembered I had bought an apartment and fell asleep as soon as the paperwork was done. I stood up and checked the time on my phone. It was 7:48 in the morning and I needed to be at the café at 8:30. Which only gave me about an hour. I walked over to the bathroom and turned the water on. I waited for the water to heat up before I stripped and got in.
