Flashing lights, loud noises, stranger's voices, deafening alarms, and high pains. These are all the things you feel and see when being rushed through the hospital halls. Going in and out of unconsciousness as the doctors, nurses, and friends all worry and tell you to stay awake and to ignore the urge to give in to the consuming darkness. But the urge is far too strong, and the pains make you feel like you want to just pass out and sleep the nightmare away. The burning in my lungs is making it difficult to breathe and when I do get a breathe in, it burns like hell and makes you feel like your back in the fire burning along with the building. Suddenly, my hearing dissipated, my vision became clouded, and the last memory I have is Cassy's voice yelling at the doctor to make sure I live through this.

[Cassy's POV]

It's been a few hours since the doctors strolled Aiden and Scarlet away behind the doors where no one is allowed to pass. I asked the nurse how they were doing, but considering I'm not a blood-related family member they are refusing to release any information. Rachel soon arrived and came running straight up to me with a panicked look on her face.

"Cassy you need to hide, like NOW!" she told me making me confused.

"What..." before I could even get another word out a loud and booming voice echoed through the halls. I looked at Rachel and she gave me an apologetic look. I then knew what was happening.

"I'll keep you posted, now go," I nod and disappear from the room. I was still in hearing distance, especially by the way he was shouting I could probably hear him from the 5th floor.

"Where is my daughter!"

"Sir we need you to calm down."

"Don't tell me to calm down! Tell me where my daughter is and why the gell shes here!" Xavier continued yelling at the nurse who was clearly scared shitless as she tried to calm him down. Christian was standing behind him trying to calm him down. He probably knows yelling wasn't going to get them the answers they wanted. After about twenty minutes of Christian and the nurse trying to get through to Xavier, he calmed down enough for Christian to have a civilized chat with the nurse. I couldn't quite hear what they were saying so I was trusting that Rachel would tell me what was going on with Scarlet. I was going to go check on how Aiden, Mark, and Sebastian were doing when the doctor who took Scarlet came through the door and walked over to Xavier, Christian, and Rachel. I watched as their facial expressions turned from worried to relieved, but the look of relief didn't last long. When the doctor walked away Christian and Xavier walked off down a hallway. When they were out of view Rachel came up to me.

"How is she?" I asked her and she gave me a small smile.

"The doctors successfully got her breathing on her own and contained the burns on her skin from the explosion. She's fine and awake now" she explains to me and all that sounds like good news, but she's acting like there's more.

"That all sounds like good news, so why do you seem upset," she looks up with sorrow in her eyes.

"because I'm the one that told her about her father's plan, I helped him plan it, I helped him destroy the building that they were in knowing that she would be hurt,"

"It's not your fault and I don't that Scarlet blames you, now why don't you go see scarlet and have her tell you herself that she's not mad at you, then when the coast is clear text me, and I'll come by. Now I'm going to check on how the boys are doing" I tell her and she nods in agreement.

"Your right, I'll let you know when they leave," she walks off down the long hallway as I go back to the nurse's station and find out how the rest of them are doing.
