I sat beside Lizzie against the wall of my cell, staring at the wall on the other side of the cell. Yes, I've just been put Cell Block A for separation. I don't know if Carl knows yet, or the others, but I'm sure they do.

"This sucks" She sighs.

"Yup, you can say that again" I reply.

"This sucks" She says again and it causes us both to giggle.

"At least we're still happy" I shrug and she nods. I hear the cell block doors open and I heard voices.

"You will be alright in here" I heard Dr. Caleb's voice. I stood up along with Lizzie and we walked outside our cells to see what's going on.

My eyes widened at the new member who decided to join Cell Block A for quarantine.

"Glenn?" I say and he looks at me, his face pale. He nods at me and I ran to hug him.

"Glenn, god this is probably my fault. I'm so sorry" I say and he waves his hand.

"Nah, it was probably from when I went in this morning. Don't worry about it kid" He smiles and pats my head. We heard Dr. Caleb suddenly coughing and it didn't stop.

"Oh no, Dr.." I say as I rub his back.

"I'm fine. You guys stay safe in here" He says quickly walking out of the room.

"Shit, if Dr Caleb has the flu, who's gonna treat us?" Glenn says pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Hershel can" Lizzie smiles.

"Let's hope so Lizzie" I smile before patting Glenn. "Hang in there" I say before going back into my cell to stare at the wall for another few hours.

Lizzie, Glenn, Hershel, Sasha and I stare down at Dr. Caleb, who was coughing out blood. Hershel was squeezing this pump thing that connected a tube into Dr. Caleb's throat and it seemed to make it better.

"I want you all to do shifts for this. Pump every 5-6 seconds, and let someone take your place when you feel that you can't do it anymore" Hershel sighs, sweating a little. We were just hanging around the A Block when Sasha and Hershel came in with Dr. Caleb who was coughing out blood. We had to lay him the cell next to Glenn's, and tip him on his side so he didn't choke on his own blood.

"Where are you going Hershel?" I ask as Hershel gets out the cell.

"I'm making tea out of elderberries. I'll distribute them later, it'll help control the fever" He says before hopping away and leaving the cell block.

I look down at Dr. Caleb sadly, as he was out cold. Glenn and Sasha agreed to take turns and I took Lizzie back to my cell. I wonder how Carl's taking all this, or if he knows already. I want to talk to him so bad.

"Nathalia, Carl's looking for you" Glenn comes into my cell, all pale, even paler than me.

Speaking of the devil. I nod and told Lizzie to stay in my cell. I walked out of the cell and proceeded to where we could talk to the uninfected people through a glass window.

...

"Carl" I whisper and touch the glass, as I see him wipe his tears away. He looks up at me and places his hand above where I touched the glass.

"Nat, I-I don't know what to do" He whispers and I shake my head, smiling softly.

"I'm still alright Carl, now you have to go take care of the people who aren't attacked by the flu" I say.

He sighs. "I miss you"

"I miss you more, Grimes. Cheer up, give me the smile that makes me fall for you harder everyday" I say and he chuckles.
