For the next few days, I went to school with a fresh mind, trying not stressing myself out over any trivial issue.

It was Friday, last day of the second week of school. My first class was social science, which was late in the morning. Anne too, was in this class.

"I'm really enjoying Biology. All the chromosomes, the DNA, the genetics, they captivate me!" said Rachel cheerly.

"Most of my classes are good, but ugh, English with Mr. Hathway is maddening!" complained Anne. "He sounds like a sleepy sloth!"

"My English class is going great. I usually sit with Caleb so, that's a thing too." I laughed.

"Ooh, this is cool. So, Rachel's dating your ex and you'll date hers!" Anne said with a playful grin.

I blushed and said "Oh my. I haven't even asked him out yet or anything at all. Don't think so much."

"Yeah, none of that has happened but I have a feeling it will very soon!" grinned Anne.

"Also, you were the one who planned sex before dating so don't talk about advance plannings", laughed Rachel, while we walked towards our lockers. She spotted Damien across the hallway.

"Okay, guys, Damien's here. I wanna talk to him. See y'all later!" she said and skedaddled.

"What are we gonna do?" I asked Anne. "We have 45 minutes more for our first class to start."

"Well, I really have to see Alvin too. He asked me to meet him today, it's important." she stated.

"Wow! Can't believe this shit. Go, I'll meet you later." I said angrily.

"Sorry."

"Actually, I don't care, I'm coming with you"

"Hey Alvie!" I said and hugged him while Anne stood beside me.

Alvin and I have been good friends even before he started dating Anne.

"So, How is it going? What's new, Skylar?" asked Alvin.

"Caleb." stated Anne.

"What! Girl, you finally found a boyfriend?" inquired Alvin enthusiastically.

"Nope. Not so soon, I'm just crushing."

"Are you even gonna pay attention to me?" said Anne, bluntly.

"Babe!" said Alvin, pulled Anne closer by the waist and kissed her.

"Stop with the PDA." I exclaimed.

"Skylar, one day, you'll find someone who'll kiss you a thousand times, yet will never get fed up of it, and from that day, you'll love PDA." explained Alvin.

"Aw, that's cute." I said, not paying much attention to his words. "But, I gotta go for now. See y'all later love birds!"

I just wanted to leave those two alone since they had something "important" to talk. I had a heck load of time still left to kill though, so I marched into the locker room, wore my shorts and went to the sports court to practice my handball skills.
