A storm over head (Daryl Dixon fanfic)

forgive me for i have sinned

later night the stayed in the back , They made sure everywhere was blocked off so nothing could get in and they all sat in silence daryl and carol where supposed to return in the early hours of the morning so that the could that the group could all go and get beth .

" forgive me father for i have sinned " tamra had said out of the blue "this is my first confession , theses are my sins, i killed my daughter when this began she was bitten and i don't want to see her as one of those monster . i aided a man in his suicide because he asked for it so i gave him my gun. i planned on killing a man because her brought danger to my friends and family . i  killed  a man that killed my boy , i wanted revenge . that night i didn't stop there i killed the whole camp men ,women and children . i the needed medicine for my wound that still scars my  arm its only infected because of the blood of the others. i followed a group back to the camp and stole from them killing a man when he found me . i blacked out next thing i  knew i had the same to the camp as i did to the last . I also killed for a car I wanted a quick get away and there was a couple it was quick and i new the car would run . i kept secret about a girl that was part of our group and man nearly died because i ddint tell it ."

" you can now pray the Act of Contrition" gabriel said in response

"O my God,I am heartily sorry for having offended You,and I detest all my sins,because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell;but most of all because they offend You, my God,Who are all good and deserving of all my love.I firmly resolve,with the help of Your grace,to confess my sins,to do penance,and to amend my life.Amen."  Tamara parents were catholic so she knew how to do the act of contrition  it was something she was taught at a very young age .

"God, the Father of mercies, through the death and resurrection of his daughter,has reconciled the world to herself, and sent the Holy Spirit among us for the forgiveness of sins;through the ministry of the Church may God give you pardon and peace,and I absolve you of your sins, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."

then her and gabriel both did the sine of the cross "amen "

Tamara felt a weight lift off her, she locked around the room and realised that the whole of the group was staring at her . yes she realised that she had just confessed to an abundance of horrible things and the group probably thought that she was crazy but then rick did the same thing " forgive me father for i have sinned "

some of the group also did it as well . then they all settled down and some fell asleep the dog fell asleep on tamra belly like it did every night but tonight tamara sat up she looked over at rick who was also awake . "i couldn't handle being alone something just clicked in my brain and changed me you don't think any differently of me do you " 

" of course not you're still my best friend , you did what you had to survive i did the same "

" and now im pregnant " she said laughing 

"that not always a good thing for you is it the last time "

" the last time i had a daughter rick "

"the time before that "

" i know , i know  . i just can't afford to think like that right now"

"wow , that crazy i see why you did what you did, and the were cannibals and that why bob lost his leg " 

"you do what you have to do to protect your family right, and yes i feel as though bob would have had the last laugh though "

 "yea, you do and carol was the one that saved you "

rick nodded in response 

"i always knew that she would be  a hero not a scared little girl  and had faith in her and that all she need . some people can cope in this world others not so much ."

"i'm glad you could tamara, daryl was so distort when he realised that you were with none of us . he said that he should of never let go of you "

"he did what was right at the time he saved beth "

"we all thought you were dead,"

" you had no faith that i could survive, remember rick i was alone when it started "

" yea i know,but you had the us for so long "

" yea i think that's why i killed so many people because i hated being alone "

by the time the group had finished  talking the sun had risen and daryl was knocking at the door . little did they know that carol was taken , the good new was that they had found beth and this was going to be a rescue mission to get her back.
