A storm over head (Daryl Dixon fanfic)

the group left the church and began the walk into atlanta , the group was going to be one again .  

arriving at the hospital the foiled a plan and for the first time a plan went to plan . 

and a boy beth's age became part of their group . the all entered the hospital with the hostages  . the handed beth over  but they demand that the had noah to replace beth . rick was adamant on the fact that noah didn't have  do anything of a short. but  deep down noah new that he had to do that for the group because in reality beth was  there a lot longer than him and her roots would run a lot deeper .  so noah handed over the gun to rick  , noah started the walk back over to dawn when  beth yelled out "wait ," she embraced noah in a hug .

" it okay "

" i knew you would be back " dawn said 

" i get it now " then the unthinkable happened , Beth stabbed dawn in the shoulder with scissor and a gun shut run through the air.

  Beth head flow backwards and blood spray out the wall. there was gasp around the room but the one noise that stood out to Tamara the most was her own scream . 

it was like everybody in the room could no longer hear and it was just a echo . 
dawn said something but it was incoherent to the group . Tamara's dog growled loudly  and Daryl lifted up his gun firing it without hesitation. everybody raised the guns at that moment 

"no hold you fire, it over . it was just about her. stand down  "  a female cop said  Tamara walked over to carol who was on the brink of tears holding her tightly in a hug one of them stayed strong whilst Tamara sobbed so heavily into  carol shoulder that carol almost had to hold her up .

 the cops all lowed there guns . carol walked over to Daryl her was also sobbing and lowed his arm Tamra still held on to carol as if she was the only thing that was keeping her grounded . Rick finally lowed his gun with hesitation to do so but he did. his eyes clouded over with un spilt tears . Tyreese and Sasha went to each other  for comfort as they stood shoulder to shoulder the eyes the same as ricks .

" you can stay " said the cop lady 
'were surviving here , it better then out there "said a male voice 

"no and ill take anyone back there that wants to leave . if you want to come with us step forward now "

Maggie Glen Abraham Rosita, Michonne Tara , Gabriel  and Eugene all stepped out of the car after coming back from washington  little did the now what they were coming back to . they all walked towards the entrance with there guns raised .killing walkers as the did so , none of them aware of what had happened behind the closed doors .

then the door opened to the hospital , rick walking out first shaking his head  , Sasha next and terese supporting carol .

 Maggie dropped her gun as she saw Beth in Daryl arms lying limp . " beth nooooo"   she screamed out in with so much pain in her voice .  Beth looked so peaceful inn daryl arms as if she was asleep . daryl could barely keep himself together and Tamara had to hold on to Noah for support as her legs felt like they where failing her . 

they found a place to bury he a nice place where she would never be harmed again they all cried as gabriel read out a prayer something that beth would of wanted . 

Tamara got down , as the she cupped beth face , " i'm so sorry beth , i let you down goodbye my baby goodbye . "  she kissed her cheek before going to Maggie who held each other so tightly . as if they pulled apart the lose each other . 

daryl was suffering to , but he tried to hold it together so that none of the group knew who was suffering .

The group left and started along walk ,about a day later glen tried to offer daryl water 

"daryl"

" nah im alright "

"daryl "

"dont "

" hey we can make it together, we can only make it together "

"tell them im looking for water " 

Tamara hasn't  spoken to daryl since beth death , she hadn't really spoken to anyone but the dog that was always at her ankles . Tamara felt like a stuff up,like she had a curse like every kid she came in contact with was going to die . she had already lost baby , her daughter , luna , luke and now beth . who was next carl, judith , the baby that was growing inside her . daryl's baby , that when she realised that daryl was suffering to , he would of felt like it was his fault . as if he hadn't let her run off by herself and been taken then she would now be with the rest of the group. but daryl did what he thought was right at that time . 

" Abraham " Tamara said softly and horsely as she hasn't spoken for days "where did daryl go "

"went to find water "

Tamara nodded and head into the wood .

meanwhile daryl had found a small barn perfect for the group to stay in overnight , he sat down with his back on a tree . pulling out a lighter and a cigarette,  play with his hand he let himself cry  . he felt numb  so he placed the lit cigarette to his hand and let it burn a hole in his hand . he locked up at the blue sky and cried  in heavier then what he had done before. thats when tamra rounded the corner and show him sitting the crying so heavily that she realized that she had been so selfish . she hadn't made he feel any better she had probably made him feel worse why because she hasn't uttered a single word to him which could of made him think that she blamed him so she went over and sat next to him wrapping her arm around his and resting her head on his shoulder . "sh sh sh , you're okay daryl your okay " she said while her voice broke . she kissed his burn mark on his hand as he kissed his cheek " where going to make it , and beth "is to she said while looking down at her stomach. " beth if it a girl " 

" i love you so so much" 

" i love you to daryl, now lets get back to the group and tell them we have a place to say "

Daryl nodded as they both got up he kissed her on the lips ,before grabbing her hand .
