Tamara never wore gloves she hated the feeling of having something on her hands, not being able to use them properly . but on her fifteenth birthday her brother cooper gave her a pair , grey in colour . Ten weeks later cooper was in a horrible plane accident were all the passenger died , Tamara was supposed to go on that flight but got sick with the flu so her mother told her it was best she stay home. ever since that day Tamara thought it was some how her fault , but how could it of been . her brother always wanted to join the army , her a police force his last words to her were "even if you feel like you not going to make it try harder the next time " and thats what she lived by give everything a go twice .
it had been a week since she joined the police force she was 23 and so was rick, Shane being the youngest of the trio , Shane had just turned 22 and received a present from Tamara ( a necklace ) . she had just been called for backup and jumped on to police motor bike , with the engine roaring to life . but when Tamara arrived she reached for her gun but found that she was without it . terrified she entered the building ( the police academy did tell her to never enter with out a weapon). entering the building she made a shocking discover Shane was lying unconscious on the ground and so were some of the other cops . she was truly alone and without a gun. next thing she was grabbed from behind terrified she hit the man in the jaw with her elbow and did what she thought would do best amount distraction, she punched him in the gut the man grunted . hitting her back , she hit him again this time her knuckle split. Tamara hit him again this time in the face he fell to the ground. Tamara's hand was throbbing and bleeding heavily she knew she need stitchs she must of hit him hard . the sirens of backup backup police cars came , police entered the building just as she was putting the handcuffs on the man. her and Shane we escort to the hospital to be checked over . that was Tamara first scare on her hand after that day she never used he gun and only her fist . she received the nickname firecracker from rick because just before she hit some she would take of her gloves and the explode ( so to speak) . those grey gloves she received on her fifteenth birthday did in fact come in handy .
so Tamara was the girl behind the gloves .......
