A storm over head (Daryl Dixon fanfic)

Daryl was back and it was the best thing to happen to rick having him here . the two men where on a run to try and find people that would help defeat negan as well as food of course . it felt like it had been such a long time that they have been together out of the gates . it felt like old times but it hurt them both at the sametime because they didn't have tamara , walking beside them.  it amazing how one person can make such a impact on your life .

 they came across a man , the man looked some what like he could take them both on and end up coming out of it alive . but he didn't have that look in his eyes , like he had been out here by himself . he looked like he had people so rick and daryl lowed the weapon and asked the one question " can we talk to you leader " oddly the man nodded he didn't utter a world and guided them to follow the two men did . still being caution . they reached a camp ground where a the man hived enough  and that man started walking away . 

the man kept walking passing men women and kids , rick looked over at daryl and smiled at the memory of the first camp that the had .  

the man finally uttered a world " we have guest " a women with glass stepped  out of the tent . 

" we would like to talk to you leader " the women smiled kindly at them 

"of course follow me " as the women walked a women with tattoos followed cracking her knuckles and neck  and then the both reached a tent the two women opened it there stood a table with a red headed women sitting withere back to the the small group and a women stood facing them she was skinny but she had a kind smile .

" come in "

"we would like to talk to you leader "

"she's in here " the voice made the air hitch in daryl throat . 

the red head stood up and  faced the group . there was daryls wife , ricks best friend . they smiled at her and daryl walked over to hug her but the women with tattoos stopped him grabbing onto his arm .

" thats far enough "

"shes right , what do you need rick , daryl " she said facing the two men .

" i want you to come back " daryl pleaded 
" this is my home now daryl "

" we need you groups help to defeat negan "
" negan , negan " she said laugh the rest of the girls laughed to 

" why do you find this so funny "

" i find this funny because your scared of him " 

" he killed our people "

"oh he killed ours two but where not scared he doesn't control use " 

"what do you mean , "

"he killed two of our men , but we move around so much he hasn't been able to find us and when he does he lose six men "

daryl stood there in shock this wasn't his wife this was their leader and she was doing what was necessary . 

"what in it for us rick , " 

"if you can defeat negan " 

" my twin brother she said interpreting the rick 

" he ,your, what , "

" my brother , funny really i didn't know i had a twin must run in the family "

"well you help us "

"well think about it tell us the date and time and when we have decided we will surprise  you " .

then the women with tattoos started to guide the  men out daryl wanted to stay and talk to tamara but he could see now that wasn't possible .

he needed her but he knew that they needed her more and he was just going to have to accept it and when the kids would ask about her he would tell them that she was the strongest women he knew .

going to bed that night he gave both the boys a kiss he new that one of his sons would never make it in this worlds and that was because they had recently found out that he had nerul migration meaning that some of the neurons in his brain had not travelled to the right resting place.

he wasn't going to make it and that was a given. Tamara dog stayed near the boys at all time and that was a good thing because if anyone approached them other than daryl the dog would growl.

tamara was never going to know that one of her boys wasn't going to grow up and make it .
