Why does it hurt so much
Existing shouldn't hurt so much
I guess that's my fault
Because I tried to reach something
I knew I'd never be able to touch
You told me it would be okay
You promised me it'd be okay
But look where we are
You're not even here
When you promised me you'd stay
How is that fair
It's not fair
That's the truth
I wish It was different
I wish I could say I didn't care
But I guess I should try still
I guess I should continue still
Even though it hurts
Because if trying feels like this
I know not trying would kill
I won't give in
I won't cave in
Because somewhere close
I know that this pain
Will come to an end
