I wander back into the office a little dazed, that was not how I saw the day going, in fact its been a hell of a week so far.
Jayne sheepishly looked around the door.  "Well did you get it sorted out?"
I shake my head "No, we are doing the club" I tell her, dropping my head onto my arms.

"Is that not a good thing, it's a great opportunity?" she asks softly and I groan.
"Its not the club, it's the owners" I whine and she sits down laughing at me over the desk.
"The gorgeous guy that came here, he was yummy, don't tell me your not interested" she teases and I shake my head.
"Its not that simple, it's not just him" I whisper but she hears me.

"Ohh, Tell me more" she grins and I sigh and tell her about meeting Henry and Alex and my visit to the club, and todays confrontation.
"I would never have signed us up for this, if I'd have known how you felt about the job, but Gen, are you sure you're not tempted, You could ignore the client staff rule, its your company" she tells me but I shake my head.
"No way, I need that rule to keep them away" I say.

"Wow, you lucky thing you" she states and I look at her in shock.
"How do you see luck in that" I scowl at her and she shakes her head at me in pity.

"You have just told me you have two hot alpha males who are willing to chase you to be with them, determine to be with you, most people didn't even get one alpha, if your lucky it'll be a beta male" she moans and I laugh at her.
"You need to stop reading those werewolf books" I tell her with a giggle before reality crashes back in.

"So boss how are we going to do this" she asks and I sigh, explaining about Colin and James and access to the club during the day.

"You can go in and do the measurements and take the room photos, you will probably need to sign their NDA, give the club a ring and arrange to do that this week" I tell her and she grins at me.

"Oh yes please, i've always been curious about that place" she replies and I shake my head at her.
"It looks different in daylight" I tell her "And I will start pulling together some designs for the public areas first"

Jayne hops up and looks at me. "Boss, I know this is out of your comfort zone but I really do believe you could do a fantastic job with the club"

"Thank you Jayne, now get to work, we've got two current jobs to get finished up before I can focus on this one"
"Yes boss" she laughs heading back to her own office.

Ring Ring
I grin at the phone seeing who's calling before lifting it "Hi Ma, how are things?" I ask.
"Oh Geneva, what is going on, i've just spoken to Lucy and she told me all about that dreadful woman, do you want me to set your fathers on her" She replied with a rush and I laughed.
"No Ma, its been dealt with"

"So when are you coming home, you should see the babies, they are getting huge" she changes the subject to her current favourite, Gaia, and now Rowan and Forrest, my youngest brothers babies that arrived in a rush during their wedding reception, telling me about the latest stage in their growth and how Amalie is dealing with the twins.

"Soon Ma, I have a couple of jobs to complete but I will be their for dinner on Sunday" I promise and she sighs.
"And if you need it?"
"Yes Ma, if Elizabeth doesn't clear up her mess I will talk to the dads" I agree
"Good girl, sometimes you have too much pride and take the more difficult route, it's good to let people in and accept help" she tells me before saying bye.

For the rest of the week I focus on clearing my work and through finalising the two current projects, the relief at having completed the work to the customers happy satisfaction warring with the knowledge that the club job was next.

Jayne had been to the club and taken measurements , James showing her round and giving her a list of essentials that each room should have. She had not mentioned Alex or Henry, so I took that, she had not seen them there.

Sunday dinner with the whole family had been a loud and cheerful event, with all of my parents and siblings giving me their advice and offers of help but I waved it away, and was relieved that no-one prodded deeper as to why Elizabeth had started it. Paris was the only one who knew I went to the club but she kept quiet and I sent her a thankful glance over the table, and relaxed back to enjoy myself, spending some time with my niece and nephew and imagining the wonder of motherhood.

All too soon the weekend was over and business called, my nerves pinging as I made my way into the office, just moments before an excited Jayne.

"Coffee first" I said holding my hand up to stop her excited babble and she grinned at me, shaking her head, as I flicked on the coffee machine and set it running.
"How were the babies?" she asked, once we were sat in my office with our drinks.

I told her about dinner and how the babies had grown and shared the offer of support from the family, keeping the topic safe and simple, as we caught up and then it was time.

"The Club" Jayne said and I groaned dropping my head onto my arms. "Have you had any ideas?"
"Yes" I mumbled.
"Can I see them" Jayne asked excited and I shook my head, the ideas I had, had come to me last night as I was tossing and turning. Visions of how some of the private rooms could look, how the main room could look.

"I need to get them down on paper today and then you can take a look, its just a basic idea in my mind at the moment" I tell her, embarrassed.

"Okay, so while you do that, I'm going to check out some specialist sites that James gave me for equipment" Jayne said with a blush, laughing as my eyebrows rose.
"Oh don't look at me like that, James was just being very, very helpful and this research is work, there is no proof that i'm going to enjoy every second of it" she giggles and I wave her away with a grin.

Reaching for my sketchpad and pencils, I spend the next four hours lost in the pages as I put down on paper the rooms from my memories.

"Gen, its way past lunchtime, you need to take a break" Jayne calls and I jump, not having heard her come into the room. I look up at her blankly, my mind still on the images of the rooms. "Gen!" she snaps and I start to wake up.

"Huh?"
"You missed lunch, you need to take a break, come on, grab your bag, we'll go to the cafe, you need to get some air" Jayne orders, pulling me up from my chair and I can almost hear my tense muscles creaking as I untwist my body.

"Ohh" Jayne groans catching a glance at my designs but she mutters later at herself before hauling me out of the room.

By the time we've reached the cafe I had woken up from my design fog and was feeling a little more in the land of the living.

"You okay" Jayne asks as we choose a table and order and I nod absently. "I haven't ever seen you so lost in your work, and from the glimpse I got earlier, they are going to be the best you've ever done" she tells me and I grin wryly.

"If the customer likes them, he rejected the last designs" I reminded her but she shook her head at me.
"Gen, I saw the last designs and these are nothing like them, trust me I think you've nailed it perfectly" she tells me sincerely.
"We will see, you can take a proper look at them when we get back, you may change your mind" I warn but she just laughs at me.
