Rumors went around pretty quickly and now the whole school found out about Seungmin being Hyunjin's mate. And let's just say, things didn't work out well for Seungmin. Now, he not only was bullied by Hanji and his minions but even some girls tripped Seungmin in the halls and scribbled mean words on his desk.
"Seungminnie, is it true that Hyunjin is your mate?" Jisung asks as they sit in the cafeteria.
Seungmin only nods as his answer.
"WHAT!? Really!?" Felix screams drawing unnecessary attention.
"Lixie please.. Not so loud.. " Seungmin pleads
" Sorry Minnie" Felix apologized with his head down
"Its fine Lixie.. Plus... I don't really care if Hyunjin is my mate. It's better off that I don't bother him. " Seungmin says
"What do you mean by that Min? He's your mate... You aren't a bother to him" Chan says
"I got him into a fight the first time we met.. It's only the truth when I say I'm a bother" Seungmin says under his breathe hoping no one hears
"A fight!? Minnie, what do you mean by a fight!? " Woojin says anger evident in his face
Seungmin panics and flinches
"Woah... What kind of friends are you? You don't even know that your friend is bullied? So that's why he was helped by no one this morning " say none other than Hyunjin who stands behind Seungmin
"Bullied!?" All of Seungmin's friends yell out.
"Hyunjin please" Seungmin whimpers
"Don't you know that he's getting hurt everyday by bullies?" Hyunjin says with concern and anger
"It's good that I was there to protect my mate. I can't trust you people to do that " Hyunjin continues
"Minnie why didn't you tell us?" Minho says with a sad face
"Hyung.. I.. " Seungmin whimpers out looking down.
"Minnie... You should tell us things like this... How could you hide from us that you're getting hurt?" Chan says worried
" I'm sorry" is all Seungmin says
"Why are you apologizing Min? We're the ones who couldn't be better friends " Jisung says with tears in his eyes
"That's not true... You guys are the best friends I could ask for" Seungmin says
"Then why didn't you tell us that you were being bullied?" Changbin asks
"I just didn't want to be a burden" Seungmin says
"Oh Minnie... You're never a burden " Woojin says
"Really?" Seungmin asks
"Yeah really" Chan says as he pulls Seungmin in for a hug.
Hyunjin watches from the sidelines with a smile
My mate is too cute. I need to protect him no matter what
"Hey Hyunjin? Thanks for letting us know about this.. We would have never found out if not for you, so thanks " Chan says
"It's fine. I'm just protecting my mate" Hyunjin says at which Chan smiles
"I'm glad that you're his mate. But mind you, if you hurt him, I'll not let you live " Chan says with a smile but Hyunjin shivers at the words
" I promise, I'll take good care of him if he lets me" Hyunjin promises
"Just give him time. He'll warm up to you. He's just a little shy " Chan says with a smile
"I'll wait for him then" Hyunjin smiles back
I'll wait for him till he's ready
