Hugs

At the infirmary

Thankfully Seungmin did not sustain a lot of injuries aside from a few blemishes on his cheeks from the slaps he received from Hoojun.

Hyunjin waited for Seungmin as the nurse applied some ointment on his wrists and gave him an ice pack.

The nurse left as she had to go get her lunch leaving the two alone.

"Seungminnie...are you really okay? Does it hurt anywhere else? I swear I'm going to beat that bastard up!"

"I'm okay Hyunjinnie...you don't have to worry so much... And you don't have to get into a fight with Hoojun either...I don't want you to get in trouble because of me"

"But he-"

"It's fine really....I just don't get why he did that"

"It's my fault ...I'm sorry"

"Why? Did something happen between the two of you?"

Hyunjin looked conflicted and his reluctance to tell Seungmin got him worried.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to..I'm not forcing you"

"No I have to! I don't want there to be any secrets between us "

Seungmin nodded and waited for Hyunjin to tell the reason.

"You see...the thing is .. Hoojun's sister used to be in love with me. She asked me out but I refused because I wanted to wait for my mate. But then ,she was obsessed with me and would come up with different threats to force me to date her. I refused of course."

Hyunjin looked rather conflicted to continue and Seungmin held his hand to comfort him.

"Well ..when I found out that you were my mate , I told her that I couldn't go out with her since I already found my mate but she became so obsessive and threatened to hurt you if I didn't date her . So I reported to a teacher about her psychopathic nature and she was expelled I guess. It wasn't a new thing for her and I found out from my friends that she had hurt people in the past because of her obsessive nature."

"I heard she was admitted to a psychotic ward last year. Hoojun even tried to hurt me because of what happened to his sister. I was scared that he'd hurt you an my worst fears came true. He came after you "

Seungmin became shocked at what Hyunjin said. How could someone be so cruel...?

"I'm so sorry Minnie...I couldn't protect you ..I should have been there for you. " Hyunjin looked down in shame .

"What are you talking about!? You saved me! If it weren't for you,I don't know what would have happened to me. I should be thanking you . Don't apologise... please"

"If I was late then you-"

"None of that matters! You saved me...that's all that matters"

Hyunjin suddenly hugged Seungmin tightly. Seungmin felt loved and warm from the hug and he wished he'd never have to let go.

"So why were you looking for me?"

"Uh...so you see..." Seungmin didn't know how to explain the situation without feeling shy.

"I have my heat in a few days and s-since you're my ..uh..mate..I was hoping to ask for a few..articles of your clothing with your ..s-scent on them..."

Seungmin felt so shy and he couldn't look up to see Hyunjin's face.

Little did he know , Hyunjin was looking at him with the fondest look in his eyes .

"You don't have to be embarrassed about it sunshine..I'll bring some of my hoodies that I wear a lot and a blanket with my scent on them for you.."

"Really? Thanks Hyunjinnie!" Seungmin said with a shy smile on his face.

"But I need something in return"

"What do you want?"

"I want to hug you more"

"Eung...that's ..." Seungmin pouts while blushing.

Hyunjin cooed out loud because how could you not!? This boy was a puppy in a literal sense.

"We hugged just a while ago.. please? "

"Okay fine..." Seungmin says and Hyunjin hugs him just like before. Tightly but not enough to hurt and with just enough warmth and love .

Soooo.....sorry for taking so long to update...I'm lazy ...😅
