That day Seungmin didn't join his friends at lunch.
He didn't even speak to anyone.
Even after school was over, he just rushed home without speaking to anyone.
His friends found it weird that Seungmin just left without saying anything.
They were worried but they knew that they couldn't pry unless Seungmin told them something.
Seungmin's P.O.V
It's better if I just die.
I only keep worrying everybody.
I can't do anything right.
I'm just a burden to even my dad and friends.
I shouldn't be here.
I shouldn't be alive.
I don't deserve to be here.
I want to die.
"Dad, I'm going out for a bit " Seungmin says as he comes down the stairs.
"Okay, don't be out too late alright? Come home soon" His dad answered with a warm smile.
"Okay dad " Seungmin says with a fake smile.
I'm sorry dad... For doing this to you...
I hope you'll be happier without me burdening you.
I hope you forgive me...
It's just that...
I don't have any more courage left.
I don't have the strength to go on anymore.
I'm sorry dad.
Goodbye.
Seungmin stood on the edge of the bridge.
The water below looked so welcoming.
He knew that once he jumps, it's over.
He really had no regrets.
He knew his dad and friends will be sad.
But at least, he can stop being a bother to them now.
Just one step and it will all be finally over.
Just one more step and he could finally be free.
He wished he could meet Hyunjin once just to tell him that he's free now.
That he can find a mate who actually deserves him.
But he couldn't do that.
Seungmin looked at the water below.
Took one last look at the sky.
Ah... The stars are so bright tonight.
It's a good night to die huh?
I guess I can finally be with mom now.
He looked down. Closed his eyes.
Took one last breath.
And took that one last step to fall into the waters below.
Except that he didn't fall.
A strong pair of arms held him back.
And pulled him back and into the chest of the person behind him.
He could feel a strong smell of chocolate and mint surrounding him, giving him a feeling of security.
"Hyunjin.....?" he mutters.
"Idiot! What were you trying to do!?" was the answer he got back...
