A few days later
Hyunjin and Seungmin had gotten closer in the past few days and this fact was still not fully accepted by the students at their school.
Seungmin would still be shoved by the students in the corridor when he was all alone and his desk would still be scribbled with abusive words.
But he wasn't hurt badly because Hyunjin would stay by his side most of the time.
"Hey Kim Seungmin, we need to talk to you" A girl from his class says.
There were two other girls behind her glaring at him.
"Follow us up to the rooftop right now"
Seungmin had no choice but to obey as he did not want to fight back.
At the rooftop
"So you still continue to persist to try to be Hyunjin's mate huh? Who do you think you are!?"
Seungmin flinched at her words.
"You have no right to be his mate. You are useless and a waste of space.. You don't deserve Hyunjin"
Seungmin looked down and felt tears running down his face.
"Hyunjin probably hates you but just doesn't show it"
You are the most precious person for me
"No...you're wrong" Seungmin whispers
"Huh? What did you say?"
"Hyunjin doesn't hate me...he cares for me and he would never hurt me"
"What do you think of yourself? Some high deity? You're nothing but a piece of trash to be thrown away!"
"You're wrong... Hyunjin said that I'm loved by my friends and family...and I won't ever doubt his words"
The girl slaps Seungmin right across his face. She starts hitting him continuously and doesn't stop until the other girls hold her back.
"Stop it Younghee...you don't need to dirty your hands by hitting this trash"
The girl fixes and posture and leaves with the other girls.
"Kim Seungmin I'm going to make you regret talking back to me. By tomorrow, you'll be the one avoiding Hyunjin all on your own. "
"What do you mean by that!?"
"You'll see"
Younghee sneers at him before leaving.
Seungmin pushes himself up to rest his body on the wall. He checks his reflection in his phone screen.
"I'll have to put a band-aid over my cheek.. otherwise Hyunjinnie will worry...it's a good thing we didn't come to school together today"
Seungmin goes by the infirmary to get a band-aid and makes his way to class.
During lunch break
"Minnie! What happened to your face? Who hurt you?" Hyunjin brushes his fingers against Seungmin's cheek where he had been hurt.
"I fell down Hyunjinnie...don't worry.. I'm fine" Seungmin tries to put up a smile as sincere as possible.
"Don't lie Minnie"
"I'm not...I fell down..really... now come on..let's go eat...I'm hungry.." Seungmin pulls Hyunjin towards the table where their friends were sitting.
By tomorrow you'll be the one avoiding Hyunjin all on your own.
I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about her words
