After an hour
Seungmin woke up to find Hyunjin cuddled up with him. Hyunjin was still fast asleep and showed no signs of waking up. Seungmin traced Hyunjin's face with his fingers and smiled looking at how peaceful Hyunjin looked while sleeping.
But thinking back to what happened in the past few days, Seungmin felt guilty for making Hyunjin go through so much pain. Without him realising it, tears welled up in Seungmin's eyes.
"I'm sorry Hyunjinnie... You had to go through so much because of me.. Because of me, you had to get so much pain"
"Don't be stupid" Hyunjin's voice startles Seungmin
"Hyunjinnie when did you-".
"I woke up when you started tracing my face ...but that's not important right now.. all that happened in the past few days has nothing to do with you. You have done nothing wrong. You have nothing to apologise for."
"But of it weren't for me then you'd never have gotten hurt! If it weren't for me, you'd have a much better life..I'm just a nuisance to you Hyunjinnie" Seungmin whimpers out
"How are you so sure that I'd have a better life without you? Who are you to decide that!?" Hyunjin asks
"I just know it okay!? Ever since I've been alive, I've only been a burden to everyone around me. My dad,my friends and even you."
"Have I or your dad or any of your friends ever told you that you're a burden!?"
"You don't need to say it for me to know!"
"We care for you Minnie! And we don't mind anything as long as you're here, safe and sound with us. We love you Minnie and I wish you'd love yourself too."
"I just... All my life,I've been told I'm a mistake..I just can't accept the love I receive"
"Well... Whoever told you that are wrong... because you are a miracle to me and to your dad and our friends.. there's nothing about you that makes you a mistake. We love you for you. And I will do everything to make you feel loved." Hyunjin says pulling Seungmin closer to him and kissing his forehead.
Seungmin starts sobbing.
"Thank you Hyunjinnie... thank you for all the times you've been there for me when I needed you... I ... right now..I'm still broken..I still find it hard to accept myself...but I promise...I'll try...I'll try harder to make myself better for you...I'll try to become stronger for you..I'll make myself worthy of being your mate" Seungmin says curling into Hyunjin's chest.
"No sunshine... You don't have to change anything about yourself... You're perfect for me the way you are. I'll accept all of you, even your scars and even your flaws. Because all of them adds up to your beauty. Because those scars are what makes you Kim Seungmin, my strong little omega" Hyunjin says hugging Seungmin softly.
"But" Hyunjin adds on getting up from Seungmin's bed and helping Seungmin get up.
"I won't let you hurt yourself any more." Hyunjin says pulling up Seungmin's sleeves revealing his bandaged arms.
"So Chan-hyung told you..." Seungmin whispers looking away from Hyunjin feeling guilty.
"Hey hey...I'm not mad at you.. yes I'm sad that you hurt yourself but I'm not mad...I just...want you to stop doing this to yourself that's all..." Hyunjin says using his right hand to caress Seungmin's cheek and making Seungmin look at him.
"Promise me you'll stop .. please?" Hyunjin says
"I-"
"Can I look at them?"
