After the classroom incident, Hyunjin started dropping Seungmin back at his classroom every single day. He would come to Seungmin's classroom to pick him up and they would go home together.
"Hey Seungminnie, wanna go to the new cafe that was opened last week? I heard they serve some really good pastries. My treat " Hyunjin asks.
"Are you sure? I don't want you to waste your money on me" Seungmin says
"Yup! Consider it as our first date!" Hyunjin says
Seungmin's face flushed immediately.
"D-date!?" Seungmin stutters out.
"Ah sorry... You don't like it? You don't want to go on a date with me?" Hyunjin says looking down.
"N-no that's not it.. Uh.. I'd love to go on a d-date wi-with you.. I -" Seungmin starts stuttering with his face flushed red.
Hyunjin just smiles at the puppy like guy next to him being so adorable.
"Aigoo... You're so cute... I don't know how I'm lucky enough to be with you " Hyunjin says grabbing Seungmin's cheeks and squishing them.
"Hyunjinnie that hurts " Seungmin cries out.
"Wait! What did you call me?" Hyunjin asks shocked.
"Uh... You don't like it..? " Seungmin asks.
"No!.. No, of course not! I love it! It's so cute and you're so cute, beautiful even and I was just shocked and-" Hyunjin started rambling in worry.
Seungmin starts laughing so hard and Hyunjin swear he never thought anyone's laughter would sound this precious for him.
"You're cute when you ramble Hyunjinnie " Seungmin says covering his mouth with his hands while laughing.
Hyunjin moved towards Seungmin and pulls down his head hands.
"Hyunjin...?"
"Please don't hide your beautiful smile... The whole world should see how beautiful you look when you smile.... But then again.. " Hyunjin moves towards Seungmin's ears
"I wish I was the only one on the receiving end of that smile" Hyunjin adds.
To say Seungmin was flustered was an understatement. He was red as a tomato by now.
"You can't just say words like that!" Seungmin says while covering his flustered face with his hands.
"Tsk.. Tsk... What did I tell you? No covering your face.. You're beautiful Minnie... And you're all mine.. " Hyunjin says.
"No... " Seungmin says.
"Huh? "
"I won't be yours until you ask me out officially!" Seungmin says with a pout and it took literally everything for Hyunjin to not squeal out loud then and there.
"Then I'll just have to ask you out as soon as possible " Hyunjin says with a wink
"I won't say yes that easily... I'm gonna need better than a date to a cafe" Seungmin says.
"I'll prepare the best for you because you deserve the very best... Just wait for me Seungminnie" Hyunjin says.
"Okay.. I'll wait for you Hyunjinnie" Seungmin says while looking up at Hyunjin with a smile.
"Now let's go to the cafe.. I need to feed myself some sugar before I brainstorm to come up with the perfect date. " Hyunjin says while grabbing Seungmin's hand and dragging him to the cafe.
And Seungmin, he just silently follows Hyunjin with the sweetest smile.
Everything seemed okay for now.. And Seungmin finally felt happy after a long time.
