Safe With Me

Chapter 6

~Elijah's P.O.V~

I haven't decided how I will protect Grace yet. I want her to be safe with me but she will be scared if she finds out about me and the boys.

I run my hands through my hair and run to Grace's house. I need to act fast what ever I do.

I hope I am not interupting anything. I knock and she answers the door, "Hey Eli, what are you doing here?" she asked.

"Um.... Can we take a walk?" I asked.

"Sure, let me just get some shoes on." she ran upstairs and came back down with some shoes on and told her parents where she was going. Gale must have left because he wasn't there.

"Why did you want to take a walk?" she asked.

"Well there are somethings I need to explain to you." I said nervously. We were by the park and I noticed that no one was there. 'Shit' Damon is here.

"Grace please stay calm and do as I say. Okay?" I asked.

"What is wrong?" she asked.

I put her behind me and Damon showed up with vampire speed, "How can he run so fast?" she whispered.

"Don't speak and stay behind me please. I will tell you later." I whispered.

"I knew I would find you here." Damon said running vampire speed to us, he stopped right in front of my face.

"Damon leave her alone, she doesn't like you." I said.

He threw me against the playground and Grace screamed and ran for me, "Oh my God, Eli are you okay?" she asked.

I got up and ran after Damon and we began fighting. I threw him on the floor and broke a peice of metal off of the swing set and stabbed it through Damon. Grace was screaming bloody murder and was crying.

I ran over to her and held her in my arms, "It's okay, I will explain everything, just please stay calm." I said.

Jayson and Alex showed up and Damon went away.

"What the Hell was that?!" she yelled.

"Okay listen, you probably won't believe this but vampires exist." I said hesitantly.

"WHAT?!" she looked pale.

"Grace, please calm down."

"SERIOUSLY?!"

"Yes." I said calmly.

"So are all of y'all vampires?"

"Yes." I said.

"So that is why I couldn't come over?"

"Yes."

She was begining to calm down, "Are y'all going to kill me?" she asked.

"No, of course not." I said kissing her forehead, "We are here to protect you."

"Are they Jayson and Alex?"

"Yes, that is Jayson. And that is Alex." I said pointing to them.

"Who was that, that you were fighting?"

"That was Damon, he is my older brother and he wants you. We were fighting over you. He will do and kill anyone who gets in his way of having you, even your family. I need you to stay with us for a while, just until we get this handled, I don't want anyone getting hurt."

She thought for a minute, "Okay, but what will I tell my parents?" she asked.

"That you are going on vacation for a month in the Bahamas." I answered.

"But that is where my parents are staying for two to three weeks." She said.

"Well then we are going to Florida for the month."

"Um okay, when do I need to pack?"

"You don't have to, we have everything that you need at the house." I answered.

"Okay, then lets go tell my parents." I ran her to her house and she said, "It's going to take awhile to get used to that."

We walked inside and she explained that she was going on vacation and that her things were in the car. They didn't question, they just thanked me for taking Grace somewhere special because they didn't have the money. But in reality we were just going to my house. I guess they were fine with Grant staying alone while they were gone as well.

I took her to my house and I showed her around. When I showed her upstairs, I showed her her room and she walked in. She opened the closet and saw that it was walk in and her eyes widened at what she saw inside. She had everything she could ever need, all the clothes she could need, all the shoes too.

Then I showed her that she had her own bathroom and she slowly walked in to find out what surprise she had in there. It was a huge bathroom and she had all the make up she could every want even though she doesn't need it.

"Oh my God! This is amazing!" She said.

She walked back into her room and jumped on her king sized bed and said, "Can I ask you something?"

"Of course, what is it?" I asked sitting at the edge of the bed.

"What all can vampires do?" she asked.

"Well we have super speed as you saw earlier, our eyes change color with our mood, we can read thoughts, and some vampires have the ability to control other people and vampires like Damon."

"Oh, how come I never see your eyes change color?" she asked.

"I wear contacts."

"Don't wear them around me." she said. I took them out of my eyes and she sat up so she was by me.

"What does pink mean?" she asked.

"Love." I said. I looked into her eyes and put my hand on her cheek then pulled her in so my lips touched hers.

~Grace's P.O.V~

Eli's little kisses turned into more passionate kisses and we were making out.

There was a knock on the door and Eli sighed and pulled away, "What?"

One of the boys opened the door, "I just wanted to properly introduce myself." he said.

"My name is Alex." Said a boy with black hair that goes right above his sky blue eyes just like Damon's. Alex is Eli's brother and they don't look alike at all, Damon and Alex look alike. Alex also has olive skin like Damon and Eli.

Then a boy with short brown hair with a green Beanie over his head and brown eyes like me came in and said, "I'm Jayson."

"Hi I'm Grace." I said waving.

They waved back, "We have heard a lot about you." Jayson said.

I blushed, "Let's give her some alone time boys so she can settle in." Eli said walking out.

I sat there and took it all in. I love this house, it is my dream room. Everything I could ever want or need.

I felt tired so I changed into shorts and a tank top then climbed into bed and fell asleep.
