The dance had just started and Rye already wanted to go home. Rye didn't know why he made such a big deal out of this dance. It was extremely boring, or maybe it was the fact that Andy looked like he was having the time of his life without him.

Rye was happy that Andy was having a good time but he wasn't happy about Andy and Harpers close proximity. He looked around at everyone having a great time with their dates and sighed. Hannah had ditched him for Zach, clamimg that "He was more fun" whatever he didn't like her anyway.

Yes, he thought Hannah was very pretty but she was kind of a bitch and was irritatingly whiny.(AN:I have no problem with Hannah its just for the story guys) Rye had started looking at random videos on his phone when someone sat beside him.

"Hi Rye, why aren't you dancing with hannah?" Andys melodic voice said making Rye look up and sigh "she said I wasn't fun because I dont feel like dancing and being here" Rye said rolling his eyes.

"Well why don't you want to be here? You were making such a big deal about it for three weeks" Andy said with a shocked expression "I don't know I'm just not in the mood anymore" Rye said huffingly crossing his arms.

He knew exactly why he didn't feel like dancing and having fun but he couldn't tell Andy that he was jealous he'd think he was being weird. "Well I'm not just gonna let you sit here and be lame so get up" Andy said holding his hand out for his best friend to take.

"No" Rye said trying to push Andy's hand away. "Please" Andy begged staring at Rye with his big beautiful ocean blue eyes that he remembered comparing to the sky when he was six years old. "No Andrew" Rye said making Andy pout.

Andy wasn't giving up that easily so he grabbed Ryes hand making him look right into his eyes that were formed into puppy dog style "Please Honey" he then pouted to make it impossible to say no. Rye melted at the sight.

He'd always thought Andy was undoubtedly adorable. Anything he did was adorable and his smile was amazing. His dimples adding to the adorableness. "Fine" Rye sighed but then smiled when Andy yelled 'yay' getting a few looks from the other kids and chaperones including Andrea and Adam.

Andy pulled Rye onto the dance floor. Andy knew that Rye wasn't the best dancer but that never stopped Rye before and it certainly didn't now. Rye and Andy danced and laughed until a loud screeching of a microphone made everyone stop dancing and cover their ears. The music was stopped and the principal stepped onto the stage.

"Hello Pinetree (First name that came to my mind 😂) students as you know we asked everyone to vote for a Valentine's King and Queen" everyone nodded. Andy scoffed he didn't see the need for a king and queen for a stupid middle school dance. "First we'll announce our queen drumroll please" the principal asked the drum player.

He was a highschooler only there because he was already failing and really needed extra credit. The drumroll sounded and girls started chattering, hoping that they or their friends had been chosen. "The winner of Valentines Day queen is...Hannah swan" The principal said happily like he was announcing Americas Next Top Model.

Hannah squealed loudly running up to the stage. She stood tall and snobbish while Mr.Whikerbee placed the shimmering crown on her head. To make the moment even more dramatic than it needed to be, Hannah was handed a red velvety sash and a bouquet of roses. "Give it up for the Valentine's Day Queen" Mr. Whikerbee said.
