Andy sighed as he marked another day on his calendar. Two weeks, That's all they had left, including graduation. You would think that Andy would have time after graduation to spend with Rye, but no he had to stay in his dorm for at least a week.
He didn't know why but that's just what he had to do. He went around his room packing up things that he wouldn't be wearing for the two weeks he had left. He checked his clock and almost screamed, he was about to miss Rye's last football game.
He ran to his closet trying to find the perfect oufit, one of Rye's old jerseys that was way too big on him and some ripped black skinny jeans to go with the teal jersey. He grabbed his shoes and his keys then bolted out of the door after locking it.
When he got there, it was half way through the third quarter. He cursed out loud quickly hurrying to the bleachers where he found his friends, Malinda,Christian and Brook"Hey boopy" Malina said giving him a side hug.
He hugged her back and sent a quick wave Christian and Brook's way, which they returned. "Ryes gonna be so pissed at me" Andy said sighing out loud feeling guilty about being late.
Christian let out a laugh making Andy look up at him "what's so funny" Andy asked curious as to why his distraught brought him pleasure "I was just laughing because I came at the start of the third quarter" he said with a smile.
Malina then added in that she had come close to the end of second and Regan glared at her from where the cheerleaders stood "i had to apologise like five times and then I promised to buy her food after the game so she'd forgive me" she said laughing. Andy laughed and talked with them, catching up on some things, he'd surely miss them.
The game was coming to an end, his team only needing one touchdown to win. Andy saw Maddox running with the ball, he then passed it to Mikey before being tackled.
Mikey ran faster and faster then passing it to Jack who threw it. The ball soared through the sky landing in the arms of Rye who ran, trying to get to the end zone. He had Zach to his left but three of the opposite team players behind him. Rye pushed on, running faster than he ever had before.
The crowd was on the edge of their seats, Andy bit his lip while holding tightly to Christian's hand. Rye kept running and the other players got closer and closer until Rye dived right into the end zone making the game winning touchdown.
The crowd cheered, the other crowd booing as Rye's teammates gathered around him cheering and victory dancing.
Andy cheered hugging Malina and Christian then high fiving Brook as they celebrated their teams victory.
They got up to go out onto the field, Christian and Brook ran into Maddox and Jack's arms while Malina ran up to Regan kissing her on the cheek getting disgusted looks from Chelsea and Cammie.
Andy rolled his at his old "friends" and continued walking to find Rye. He found him on the sidelines talking to a man dressed in a suit.
He saw Rye smile widely at the man then shook his hand thanking the man over and over. The man then walked away, passing Andy and giving him a smile which Andy returned.
Rye smiled widely as he saw Andy and ran to him picking him up and squeezing him tightly "hey baby" Rye said kissing Andy's cheeks repeatedly. Andy giggled "hi" he said barely getting it out because of the giggles.
Rye put him down and hugged him tight then pulling away to smooth his hair back. Andy smiled at him completely forgetting about the mysterious man "congratulations on winning baby I'm so proud of you" he said then hugged Rye again.
Rye thanked him and grabbed his hand leading him to his friends when he spotted the man again talking to Maddox, Jack, and Mikey.
"Babe" Andy said pulling Ryes arms so he'd stop. Rye turned to look at him "yeah?" He asked waiting for him to say something "who's that guy in the suit" Andy asked as he stared at the mysterious man.
"Oh him, he's here all the time nothing to worry about" Rye tried to state cooly as Andy stared at him, the look on his face stating the he didn't believe him but decided to shake it off. "Oh" was all he said before lacing hands with Rye again and heading to Andy's car.
"You wanna stay at mine? Mom's not there again" Andy asked as he started the car getting a nod in return. There was an after party for winning the game but Rye decided he didn't want to go and he'd rather stay at home with Andy.
When they got to Andy's house, Rye quickly went upstairs to take a shower while Andy went to his room to change.
He changed into one of Rye's hoodies and a pair of pajama shorts and put a pair of joggers and a hoodie on the bed for rye to change into after his shower.
He walked back downstairs, grabbing some blankets and pillows to put on the couch. Andy snuggled under one of the blankets getting nice and cozy, Rye joining him soon after. They spent the rest of the night cuddling on the couch and watching "Beauty and the Beast", singing along to the songs.
