Andy was waiting in front of the schools for Rye to come so they could get in his car and go to his house. Andy was nervous as fuck. He didn't know if he was still welcome at Rye's house eventhough he done nothing and it was Rye who had ended their friendship without an explanation.

The only family member of Ryes that he'd seen was Robbie. Him and Andrea were still going strong even if he and Rye weren't friends anymore. He talked to Adam every night asking him what he should do.

Adam had decided that he wanted to go to a college that was three hours away. That means he was While he was too far to hug Andy when he cried at night. Too far to play with his hair when he was nervous about anything.

Everything that Rye used to do, Adam had started doing knowing that his brother needed it and he didn't mind but now that he's in college, Andy only had himself and a dark empty room. Andrea and Robbie only came on weekends then they were back to college.

Andy was standing there looking into space he didn't even notice Rye standing there observing him. Then Rye had finally decided to snap Andy out of his dream like state. He tapped him on the shoulder scaring the daylights out of Andy.

"I didn't mean to scare you" Rye said rubbing Andy's back trying to get his breathing back to normal. After a few minutes, Andy's breathing had become normal again he stood up straight and weakly smied at Rye.

He returned the smile and grabbed Andy's hand "Come on let's go" he said dragging Andy to his car. When they got to Rye's car, Rye opened the door for Andy "After you my lady" he said then bowed and held out his hand like some kind of servant.

Andy giggled and took his hand stepping into his car "Thank you good sir" he said blowing him a kiss and rye pretended to catch it. After all the jokes were aside, the car ride had become awkwardly quiet so rye had decided to turn on the radio.

"Someone you loved" by Lewis Capaldi came on which almost made Andy cry. Andy had been playing this song over and over since Rye had stopped being his friend. He thought it summed up his feelings pretty well. He managed to hold it in through the whole song.

When the next song played he was sure the radio station had logged into his Spotify account and played his whole playlist. "Out of love" by Alessia Cara had come on and he looked out of the window.

He couldn't face Rye and the silence and songs were killing him inside. Rye turned down the radio when "Sad" by xxxtentacion came on. "Andy I'm so sorry for leaving you I...I just- I don't know I don't even know why I did it. I never meant to hurt you -God I never want to ever hurt you I'm just so so so sorry" Rye's voice cracked while the tears built up in his eyes.

He's never cried about anything but the thought of Andy crying at night without him being there to comfort him after having a bad dream or just crying of sadness made him want to cry a whole river and drown in it for what he did to him. Andy looked away from the window and down at his hands the tears slowly falling from his eyes down to his lap.

He sniffles managed to get a small "why" out in his whisper of a voice. Rye had pulled into the parking lot of a park his vision too blurry to continue driving. He turned the car off and wiped his eyes then turned to Andy. He lifted Andy's head up with his fingers under his chin. He stared into his ocean eyes that now had a sad storm cloud over it.

Brutal waves of sadness washing over them. Even with his eyes red and puffy he looked so beautiful. He'll always be beautiful. "I know you probably hate me and I wouldn't blame you but I'm asking you to please forgive me petal I love you so much and it hurts to think I destroyed this beautiful friendship because of my stupidness" Rye said letting more tears fall from his eyes.
