Andy was driving to the mall with Malina in the passenger seat and Maddox in the back. He and Andy had become good friends already and it was only his first day along with Malina.

"So when we get there, I'm going to get rye a late birthday present and you guys can do what you want or uh you could...maybe get me a birthday present but that's totally up to you guys" Andy said in a tone of suggestion.

Malina and Maddy laughed. "Of course we'll get you something boopy" Malina said, Maddox nodding in agreement. Boopy was Malina's embarrassing nickname for Andy because when she first met him, she told him that he had a boopable nose.

He blushed at her use of the nickname making Maddy coo. Maddox is bisexual with a boyfriend back in his hometown. He was absolutely devastated when he told him and spent the whole night cuddled into each other crying their eyes out.

On the day of moving they stayed in a hug that seemed to last a lifetime but only felt like a minute to them. They were pried away from each other, his boyfriend Christian screaming and crying. It hurt Maddy so much that he had to turn away from his crying boyfriend while his parents held him back.

Now, they were trying to make long distance work by calling and texting every day and night. When Maddy had told Andy about he and Christian's relationship, he cried and hugged him super tight while he cried on his shoulder thinking about Chris's crying face.
They had become super close in such a short amount of time and Maddy was thankful for it.

They had pulled up at the mall and got out walking to the entrance. When they entered they went straight to the sports store where they ran into the one and only Regan. "Oh hi Andy, Malina and new guy" she said before quickly texting someone on her phone and pocketing it.

She gave Andy a hug and shook hands with Maddy. "I'm Maddox but everyone calls me Maddy" he said while shaking her hand "I'm Regan, nice to meet you" she said smiling brightly at him. No, it wasn't in a flirty type way just a friendly smile that she always seemed to wear.

She then turned to look at Malina and blushed a really red color. You know how she said she was bi? Well, her crush is Malina. Malina might have darker skin but you could clearly see the blush on her face.

Andy had known Malina had a crush on her but she never told anyone other than Andy because the other girls were discriminative against lesbians and because she thought Regan was straight and would reject her.

"H-hi M-malina"she said nervously confusing Andy while Maddy stood the awkwardly not knowing what the hell was going on. "H-hi Re-" Malina started to say but was interrupted by Rye running in the store and grabbing Regan's arm yanking her away.

"Hi Andy, Malina and dude. Bye Andy, Malina and dude" he said all in one go running back out of the door dragging Regan like a rag doll behind him.

"Well who was that" Maddy said even more confused than before "Uh that was my best friend and his girlfriend" Andy said now coming back from the shock of what just happened.

"Ohhh so he's the guy you're in love with but can't be with because you think he's straight and has a pretty girlfriend you think you can't compete with" Maddy said making Andy glare at Malina. "Ma! Why the hell would you tell him that!" He said making an adorable angry face that Maddy and Malina wanted to coo at but couldn't because it wasn't the time.
