Chapter 2 "Getting To Know Another"

Once I put the key card in the slot, the light turned green and I turned the doorknob and open the door. Once I got into my new house I saw all of my friends! I looked at our new house pretty quickly and notice a camping like theme to it, like we are in a loge cabin. 

"Hey ya guys!" I said excitingly 

"NOOOOOOOOO!" Ryan said angrily 

"Nah it's great to have you Leo." Jess said calmly

"So this is a pretty good house!" I said 

I looked around the area. To the right of me is a 50 square inch TV where Xavier and Jess are sitting. I looked in front of me and saw a kitchen. You have the basics like a fridge, gas iron stove, a sink, a counter top where it separates the sink from the stove, a oven, a microwave, and even a kitchen dinning room table fit for 30! Weirdly enough there is only 7 of us? I brushed it off thinking our 13 or 23 roommates have not come yet. One more thing I noticed, to the far left of me there was a hallway like from what you'll see in hotels and where the kitchen is there were stairs leading up towards another hotel like room hallway! I gently say, 

"So what are the hallways for?" 

"Oh, those hallways are your rooms." 

I jumped in surprised and immediately turn behind me. A guy with a normal tuxedo, a black neck tie, green hair, a top hat, a magician's cane, and his eyes where closed. How can he see if his eyes are closed? I brushed that off as well and I said, 

"Who are you?" I said toughly

"Oh, sorry to scare you. My name is Nokia! I am the vice principal of this school. I heard you were wondering about the hallways?"

"Yeah?" I said confusingly. Did I not closed the door once I came in? What does he want with me? Why is it only my house? I'm probably over thinking this. I walked him inside and i sat him down as he started talking, 

" You see with this school we do accept mixed gender housing. Many parents complained about this throughout the 30 years I have been doing this but that's not the point. You guys have to figure out which gender gets which hallway." 

"So we have to deiced if the boys get the upper hallway and the girls get the lower hallway?" Paige said questioningly

"Why yes." Nokia said "But I am not done. As you can figure out your fridge is empty. So you would need to buy food at our local shopping district." 

"Wait a minute, this school has a legit shopping mall?!" Paige said excitingly with confusion at the same time. 

"Yes we have many stores." Nokia sounding sophisticated "We have a 2 supermarkets, 4 clothing stores, and even 10 fast food restaurants! All of the stores products can be bought by using our Codo-coins. So you better save up. I should also mention that for the days before school starts the supermarket foods are free." 

"FREE!?" Everyone said in complete shocked 

I glanced over to the coffee table and saw a iPad that is securely mounted to the table. I asked Nokia, 

"Hey, what is the iPad for?"

"Oh this thing? This electronic tablet is only used for our special, quote on quote, amazon." 

"You guys have "amazon?" Ryan said in a non-believing tone

"Yes we do. As you can see this tablet is connected to all of your Codo-coin earning. You can see it is like a collective bank. Once you turn it on you can see you have 0 Codo-coins. However once  you all get Codo-coins, let's say that Ryan has 60, Joey has 100, Sarah has 100, Paige has 10, Jess has 260, Xavier has 77, and Leo has 69, the tablet will combine all of your Codo-coins to have a total of 676 Codo-coins.
