Chapter 6 "The Siren's Calling" Part 1

      I screamed in utter horror. Paige just removed everything from his room! The carpet, the bed, the dresser, even the shower curtains and the bathroom sink! As people heard my scream they came rushing over to me with Scorpio cutting in front of me saying, 

"What is wrong Leo?!" I pushed him aside and walked over to Paige in his cardboard box while saying, 

"Why did you did this?!" I said angrily "How are you supposed to sleep?!" 

"With this box." Paige said in a stupid manner. I almost want to slap him across the face. 

"How are you supposed to keep warm?" 

"I have a box."

"How are you going to sleep to night?"

"With this box." 

Me and Paige went back and forth until Scorpio intervened, 

"Alright alright we get it. Unless the school doesn't find out about this then we are good. So lets stop arguing?" 

"Okay fine." I said defeated. 

      We all sat down around the couch. Me next to Xavier with my arm around her and everyone else either sitting on the floor or eating leftovers. I grabbed the iPad and looked to our Codo-coins gone, however I saw that we have more than we have before! We originally had 13,846, before Tamara spent it all, but now we have 34,901! That opens up two questions, "How did Tamara get the special code for the iPad without asking us?" and "Who/How/What gave us more Codo-coins?" I was thinking about my first question. Maybe Tamara just put random numbers? Yeah that's the most likely scenario but what about the other question? I felt a presence behind me and quickly turned around and seeing Paige looking down at me. He said, 

"Oh yeah I sold the stuff in my room to get more Codo-coins."  

"Wait you sacrificed your belongings to give us money?" I said shockingly

"Ummmmm yeah I guess so." said Paige 

"Thanks Paige I can't believe you would've done this." 

"Nah it's no big deal." He walks away and gets a drink from the fridge.

      As we all are watching TV the night soon falls upon us. I kiss Xavier on her head while saying goodnight and made my way to my room. After I did my routine, I was off to bed. Thoughts swarm my head like a bees nest. Thoughts like, 

"Me, a Leo?"
"Can I protect my friends?"
"How will this affect my life?'
"Why me?" 

My medicine soon kicked in and I was sound asleep. 

Then I was woken from the alarm clock, seriously who programs the alarms to go off at 6:00 in the morning?! Who would be up at this time? I quickly made my way to the living room and got my stuff ready. We walked to school but not until Scorpio stopped me. He asked me, 

"Hey why not take a ride in our kart?" 

I gently told him "No thanks, I rather walk with my friends." 

"Alright you do what ya want to do." He cuts in front of me and hops into the kart as the drove away. 

      My friends and I walked to the school and before school was over. I'm now with Xavier, Jess and Margret. We don't talk to her since what happened during the summer. My time was soon interrupted until Joey came to us and told us, 

"Hey guys you need to follow me now. Something is a bit off." 

Me, Xavier, and Jess got our stuff together and walked out the library leaving Margret behind. We soon followed Joey to the school's auditorium and mind you this wasn't like a normal auditorium. The seats were actually move theater seats! Ya know the ones that are so comfortable and also recline with a push of a button that also have a foot rest!? Anyway we made our way through the doors and walked up the stairs passing by popcorn machines and soda dispensers that work off of Codo-coins. We soon made it to the top and we pushed open the doors. Once we opened the doors loud screams filled our ears as we looked at the stage to see Sadie singing on the stage while the auditorium is filled with screaming girls! It's so annoying! Girls in Freshman to Senior year all are here to see Sadie?! It doesn't help that the girls are screaming but with flashing neon and strobe lights?! I almost feel like I'm gonna pass out and indeed, I did. I nearly collapsed but Xavier held me and asked, 

"Are you okay!?" She yelled but that was the only way I can hear her. 

"No! Can we please leave? I feel like I'm about to faint!" I said with my hand on my head. 

      We soon left the auditorium while Xavier helped me down the stairs. We got outside and soon made it to our house where Xavier helped me into my room. I opened the door with my key card and she pushed it open. She helped me to my bed where I laid down. I told Xavier, 

"I don't feel so well." 

"Do you feel nauseous?" She asked 

"Yeah like really bad." 

"Let me get Scorpio." She soon left my room. A minute passes by and Scorpio and Xavier came into my room. Scorpio puts his right hand on my head and tells me, 

"Alright your not going to school tomorrow."

"Is it that bad?" I asked

"Well here's the things, I can check people's body temperature by sensing the water in their blood. I can tell the levels of really sick to "You're sick right now but you'll be fine in the morning" kinda deal. So yeah you're not going to school tomorrow." 

He soon leaves the room and Xavier soon sits on the edge of the bed. 

"I hope you feel better." Xavier said "I don't like it when people are sick." 

"I'm going to be fine. Trust me. I can order some medicine through my phone if I need to." 

"Alright. I'll let you rest besides I have homework to finish."

"Yeah you go do that." 

Xavier leaves my room and got my pajamas on. I tucked myself under my blankets and closed my eyes. What felt for like 10 minutes was actually 4 hours. I woke up to hear Scorpio opening my door. I asked him, 

"How did you get into my room?" I sound drunk

"I have an all opening key card. It helps me get into every room in every house. Since WE are Zodiacs we kinda need these." Scorpio told me. "I called the school and don't worry you'll be excused from school today." He walks out before I can say anything to him and I closed my eyes once again. I was only woken by the alarm clock but I soon turned it off like a light switch. I had my phone plugged in besides me and I spent my day just watching Let's Plays on YouTube, watching Netflix, and just playing video games on my 3DS. Until I got a call from Scorpio. I picked up the phone and he said, 

"Leo we got a bit of a problem. All of the girls from school are in the cafeteria now and they won't let us pass- wait now Virgo is pushing them out of the way. Okay we made it inside and...You know what i'll just send you a picture." He hangs up and not even a second I got the picture. In the picture I see Sadie on a table surrounding by girls and they all are like worshiping her as some sort god. Girls are just staring at her while some are acting as bodyguards and even some are just on the floor. Scorpio called again. 

"Yeah we couldn't get by some of the girls just chased us out and blocked the cafeteria. We heard some girls saying "Oh Miss. Christainbukk we can't be on your level of talent. We are like poor plebs. We serve you are our new leader, no wait, God!" I have to go. I'll try to get more information." He hanged up. 

What? Sadie Christainbukk as a god?! Who would want to worship her? She has no talent. I soon realized something. Maybe once we got to the auditorium and I got sick from Sadie's singing...Could it be that she was mind controlling the girls?
