I was fast asleep until I hear everyone's worst nightmare when they awake from their slumber, the dreaded alarm clock. The buzzing, the loud beeping, this is what every student can agree on of what they hate the most. I gently pushed the off button and got myself out of bed. Until I hear O-side principle Dr. G. Apparently the rooms in our house have alarm clocks that also play today's morning announcements. Dr. G says,

"Good morning O-side students. Today is September 4th 2019. I hope you have a fun and exciting first day at Colorado high. Just a few quick announcements. The club fair will be held on September 12th after school in the cafeteria. Please be aware that every student should leave the school's ground before 4:00 pm. If you have downloaded the app "Codo-Bank" you should get your new schedule with all of your classes rooms and teachers. If you did not, please make your account by using your O-side school's email. I hope you all have a fun time and please remember to stay safe. Have a good day 1."

After i heard the announcements, I got my clothes on with my backpack on my shoulder, I opened the door, and walked down my hallway. Once I got to the lounge area, I saw Sarah, Joey, Ryan, and Xavier making breakfast. Sarah and Ryan are having waffles. Joey is making himself some blueberry pancakes. And Xavier is having a banana. While everyone else is energized I am tried beyond my belief. I get so cold in the mornings before school, not to mention dizzy. That's why I don't like to eat breakfast and if I do, I feel like I'm gonna throw up. I went over to the sink and filled up my water bottle. I unplugged my Chromebook while keeping my phone still charging. I put on my black glasses and put my ID around my neck. That is my daily routine. Nothing special just some old stuff. I walked to the couch, which Sarah got off of, and I just scrolled through social media.

Minutes passed by and before I knew it was 7:10 am. Everyone was ready, well except Paige. He is still asleep. I lead everyone and we walked to our new school. This school was HUGE! It had like 4 floors for what I'm guessing, each floor is for the grades. First floor is for the Freshman, second floor is for the Sophomores, third floor is for the Juniors, and the fourth floor is for the Seniors. The school had a purple color scheme with some oranges thrown into the mix. As my group is half way to the front entrance we saw a golf kart holding like 12 people. 3 are in the front, 3 are in the back, 2 are on the left side holding onto the roof, 2 are on the right side while holding onto the roof, and 2 are just sitting on top of the kart's roof! How crazy is that? Once they got at the front entrance they parked their kart and rushed into the school. Why are they in such a rush? I brushed it off thinking it was not important.

We finally got to the front entrance and security monitors from O-side greeted us in saying a simple hello. One guy checked our ID's and let us pass. Then we saw Paige trying to catch up to us as he walked through the door.

"We should try and find the cafeteria. That way we all have a meeting ground if in case some of us have to go in early." said Paige

"Yeah good idea." said Joey "But how are we gonna find the cafeteria?"

"Don't worry the app has a GPS and they can tell us where is it." Jess said as she's plugging the word 'cafeteria' into it. We followed Jess through for like 5 seconds and saw the cafeteria is just right in front us. We walked up the stairs and were surprised. The cafeteria wasn't just a normal one instead it looked like a restaurant! Some of the tables were in a circular shape with 5 chairs circling around it. To the far left they had booths with couching seats with windows look out onto the desert. The floor tiles were black, maroon and dark orange. With the final touch, the lights were electronic candles for mood lighting. I noticed something weird as we walk in the cafeteria each table has a tablet and some students were playing games on those tablets. We sat down onto the table and I fiddled with the tablet with Xavier sitting right next to me with her head on my shoulder.
