Well today is Monday January 6th 2020. Happy new year. The school is officially unflooded and they started putting actual water into the plumbing system. I hope Simon does not pull another prank like this again. I started doing taking down the Christmas decorations last minute before I go to school.
"Hey Joey, can I get some ice cream?" Ryan says to Joey.
"Only a spoon full." Joey says to Ryan coming close to the kitchen.
Ryan then pulls out a comically large size spoon and proceeds to get Joey's ice cream.
"When did you get that extremely large size spoon?!" Joey says to Ryan while trying to contain his laughter.
"I got it off of the Amazon a while a go." Said Ryan.
"Is that why you asked me for my number?" Said Joey in a confused tone of voice.
"Yup." Ryan says with a smug look on his face while sticking the comically large size spoon into the ice cream container.
"Are you for real? We have ten minutes to get to school and you're eating ice cream for breakfast?" I said to Ryan while trying to get the Christmas lights off the walls.
"Alex, let me vibe or I will remove the ladder from your feet." Ryan yells at me.
"DO IT PUSSY!" I yelled back at Ryan.
"I would but I'm lazy." Ryan says getting another large chunk of ice cream.
Simon then comes out of his room to see Ryan sticking his large spoon in the ice cream container to get a third chunk of ice cream.
"...cool." Simon says with a yawn as he goes into the kitchen to make a peanut butter sandwich.
"Is the ice cream gone?" I said to Ryan.
"You bet it is." Ryan says with an overflowing bowl full of ice cream.
I finally got the Christmas lights down and threw them down the basement stairs. I got my backpack on and make my way to the school with Terri walking besides me.
"You know I heard the school is doing something special." I said to Terri.
"Really? What are they doing?" Said Terri
"I don't know much but the morning announcements said that all students need to go into the gym."
"Ugh...gym."
"I think they also said that this event will be for a full day and that no one has to go to class."
"Yeah but I rather be in class then play some dumb sports."
"I hear ya. Hope it's fun at least."
Terri and I make our way into the school lobby and see a bunch of security guards directing everyone to the gymnasium. We follow the line of students and when I looked back I saw Ryan, Joey, Simon, and Jess behind us in the crowed of people. When us six made our way to the gymnasium we met up and all stayed close to one another. I noticed some TV crew workers are setting up cameras but my attention is averted to Mr. Kaw in the center of the gym and he is about to speak,
"Attention all Students of O-side! I would like to announce that our yearly Volleyball Tournament is about to begin shorty. However, this is no ordinary tournament. This tournament is special because you will all be on live TV!"
Everyone is screaming in sheer horror or excitement. I heard some students around me saying, "Ugh really? I'm I gonna be all sweaty on live TV?" and "Oh SICK DUDE! This is gonna be so cool!" Mr. Kaw is about to speak again,
