Chapter 2

Mia's Pov

"Mia? Mia, you there?" I heard. I fluttered my eyes open to find a relieved looking brother in front of me.
"Wh-what happened?" I asked Dean. The back of my head was pounding. I held it in pain.
"Well, Calum came up to me saying he was worried that you might have passed out, so I came to find you. And I guess he was right, you did pass out." He looked at me, worry clear in his eyes.

"Mia, I think I should get you to the school nurse." He suggested, after I didn't respond.
"No, I don't want need to go there, I just need some pain killers for the pain." I said adamently.
All the previous events came flooding back into my memory. Wait...did Dean just say Calum was worried?
" Dean,what do you mean Calum? Your not talking about Calum Hood, are you?"
" Yeah I am.Why?"
Shit, why would Calum tell him? I couldn't tell Dean that Calum bullied me though. He didn't need to know that.
"No, reason!"
"Mia, tell me!" Dean asked, his voice demanding me to let him know.
"Well, he's Luke's friend!"
"Yeah, so what? Ohhh, does he, you know, bully you aswell?"
"Yeah, I guess so." I gave in and told him.
"Okay, that fucking bastard bullies you too! God I thought it was just Luke and Michael. You know what? I actually thought Calum was alright, he seemed nice!"
" He is probably the nicest, he stops everything from going too far. Your lucky he even told you I was here,at least he has a little bit of decency."
"Yeah, I guess. Still want to go knock his face in though."
"No, don't do that. How is you putting your fist in his face going to help in any way. Just, don't!"
"But....."
"Dean, lets just get to class!"
" Mia, how can you just let this go? You need to tell someone this is happening."
"Thats the thing, I dont WANT to tell anyone. It will just make everything so much worse."
"But....."
"Dean, just shut up. Please. No one needs to know except for you. Please? Don't tell anyone."
"How about we only tell Mum?"
"No. Mum has already got enough on her plate. She doesn't need to know that her best friends kid bullies me, Okay? Come on, lets just get to class!"
I just wanted to get away from him at that moment. He doesn't understand what it feels like. He doesn't understand how Mum would feel if she knew. It would ruin her friendship with Liz, Luke's Mum.

"Fine, I'll see you at home then." He sighed before leaving. Atleast I wouldn't see him again today. We didn't share any classes today so I wouldn't see him until I got home.

I walked into my music class, knowing Luke would be there. I love Music but he ruins the lesson for me. Its even more annoying when he is sitting near me. I thought Year 11 would be good but its no better than before.

I entered the class room to have everyone face me. I knew people saw what Luke did, but most either didn't care or were too scared to do anything.
" Mia Turner , why are you late exactly?" Miss James asked in a serious tone.
"Well...I...um...I don't know?"
" Just sit down."
Its lucky the teachers like me.

I looked around the room and the only empty seat was next to Luke. Great! I took my place and Luke snickered as I tried to get as far away from him as possible. I was right at the edge of my seat and was finding it pretty uncomfortable but I couldn't help it. It was like a natural instinct to try and get away from him!

"Stop being so awkward, sit properly."
When I didn't do as he asked, i felt his feet trap mine, crushing them with so much pressure that it felt like my bones were breaking. Tears threatened to spill as I moved closer to make him happy, but still not too close.

"For fucks sake, well it looks like we are working with each other today."
"What? Why?" I asked, completely confused.
"Did you not hear anything Miss James just said? Wow, first stupid and now deaf! Were supposed to do a duet with the person next to us. And I get stuck with the fucking nerd!"
What is his actual problem? Why is he always like this. We used to be pretty much inseperable and now he is calling me a nerd?

"Well its not my fault that no one else sat next to you, Im only sitting here because it was the only seat left. Doesn't that say something! No one. Sat. With you. So actually its the other way round, im stuck with you! And how do you expect me to hear the teacher when my foot was being crushed?"
I said this with so much annoyance that I knew he would hurt me again.
I basically just said that no one liked him. It felt good to defend myself but still...God, I'm so stupid sometimes.
"So she talks, never thought i'd see the day." he said, sounding suprised instead of angry.

"You, of all people, should know that I can talk. You've seen 'the day' plenty of times."
His reaction to my statement was quite funny if I'm honest. It was a mixture of confusion, anger and shame.

"Can we just get on, what song shall we sing?" I said, fustrated! Why did I have to say all of that before. Its not like he cares about or even remembers us being friends. When I looked up at his face, I swore I saw sadness in his eyes. But it quickly changed to being blank. What the hell?
"Luke, what song shall we sing?" I asked again, since he wasn't answering.
"Oh, Um, Well how about 'Jasey Rae' by All time low?" He asked. I was so shocked. We had the same taste in music.
"Wow, I love that song, yeah lets do that." I was really happy that we were singing a song that I liked, I didn't expect that.
"Wow, who gets excited over a song. You really are pathetic."
He just had to ruin it.

I really don't like this chapter. To me it seems really boring idk. Did you guys like it? The picture is what Mia looks like in my mind. Her name is Danielle Campbell. Anyways, i hoped you liked it.
