Chapter 13

Mia's Pov
Luke's eyes went from me to Ashton,back and forth. Its like he couldn't comprehend that we were friends.
"Why did you bring her?" Michael asked, pointing at me like dirt.
"I already told you I was bringing someone. Why are you all acting so weird."
He really didnt know what was going on, did he?
"She is the girl you were on about." Michael looked so suprised.
"Yes she is. Why is that a problem?Can somebody please tell me whats going on."
I could hear what Ashton was saying but my eyes are fixed on Luke's. He tried to look anywhere but at me.
"I dont really know whats going on but Mia, These are my band mates!Calum, Michael and..."
"And Luke." I interrupted.
"So,you know eachother?" He asked, still looking clueless.
"No shit sherlock." Luke said at the same time as I replied
"Yeah, we do."
"We-well, how?"
"How do you think?" Calum said.
"I don't know, thats why i'm asking."
"Ashton, it doesnt take a genius to figure it out." Calum said irritated.
"Are you saying I'm stupid?" Ashton asked in the cutest sad tone.
"Sorry Ashton, I didnt mean to be rude." Calum rushed over to him to give him a hug.
"It's okay."
They carried on hugging eachother. For long. Like,way too long.
"Uhhh, are you guys done?"
"Oh, yeah. So, how do you know eachother then." Ashton repeated.
"Oh my God Ashton. How do you think?" Calum says again, annoyed.
"I dont know. Thats why im asking" Why the hell are they repeating what they said before?
"Seriously, it doesnt take a genius to figure it out." Calum said again!
"Stop it. I swear this is like, de ja vu." Ashton whined.
The two of them are so annoying.

"For heavens sake, we go to the same school. Why did it take so long to fucking tell you that." Luke shouted.
"Ohhhh! Thats so cool. Now I know we are all friends, lets get ready." Ashton jumped around like an excited child because of the fact that we go to the same school.

Before I could tell him that I was not friends with Michael and Luke, I felt myself be pushed. I landed on top of Michael. Seriously? Before I could get myself off him, he screamed.
"Oh my god. Ugh, get her off me."
He then pushed me and this time I landed on Calum.
Calum looks like he didn't know what to do and ended up pushing me aswell.At this point I was way too dizzy. I landed on Luke feeling lightheaded. He steadied me and held onto me to stop me from falling. I had no choice but to look into his blue eyes as he stared down at me. Why was he acting like this?

Suddenly, he seemed to have a realisation of what he was doing. He let go and walked away, wiping his hands on his jeans as if I was dirt or something.
"Mia im so sorry, I accidently tripped over and ended up pushing you and...." Ashton apologised .
"Ashton, its okay. Im fine."
Actually I wasn't fine. Luke seemed weird when he held onto me. There was something in his eyes that looked like he was...sad? I looked at him again but now he just looked angry.
"Okay, lets get set up then." Ashton said excitedly.
He and Calum then got up while Michael and Luke didn't move.
"Why are you guys just sitting there. Me and Ashton aren't the only ones in the band you know." Calum said trying to get Luke and Michael to move.
"Im not going if she is. She isn't in the band so she shouldn't go with us." Michael snapped . I looked down. Maybe I should just leave.
"Yeah, why is she even here?"Luke asked angrily. "Its not like anyone likes her anyway."
"Actually, i like her and Ashton does too. So I dont know what your problem is." Calum retaliated.
"Well, if people actually cared about her, than why did her Dad leave. Why would he hit her if he cared about her?"
Wow. He went that far. I glared at Luke and saw that he felt bad for what he had just said. Actually, he looked like he was about to cry which was exactly what I was doing. Luke knows that my Dad is a hard topic for me and yet he brings it up. He hasn't ever gone that low but looks like he wanted to today. How could he though?

Calum, Ashton and Michael look at Luke in shock. Even Michael knew not to go that far. I ran out of the room before anyone could see me cry anymore than I already was!
"Luke man, why did you do that." I heard Ashton say, just as I left.

I was sitting leaned up against the wall on the floor of a random room I ran in to. I couldnt help but think about what Luke said to me. My Dad didn't even leave. Liam kicked him out. He hurt us so Liam kicked him out.
But what Luke said is true, I guess. If my Dad cared, he wouldn't of done what he did. Luke doesnt know half the stuff my Dad did to me. But still. I already know that I have a Dad that doesn't care. I think about it all the time. But it doesn't mean Luke has to remind me though.
