Chapter 6

Mia's Pov
I ran home after the locker room situation. When I left, I could hear coach Wilson calling me back for shuving past and being rude. I just didn't care though. Soon as no students liked me, I always tried to impress my teachers. But for once, I was too annoyed to care.

I don't even know why I was so angry. I just don't like Dean getting into trouble. I don't think the teachers even knew though, about the thing with Calum, otherwise Dean would of been suspended from playing rugby.

I wanted to calm down in some way though. Immediately, something popped into my head. When I needed to let off steam I would usually play the guitar. So thats what I was going to do.

I let myself into my house. Good thing I had my keys on me. Once I was in, I closed the door and was about to run up the stairs. But my Mum stopped me.
"Mia, how was school?" She asked, while sitting on the sofa, eyes glued to a book.
"It was fine Mum, where is Liam?" I asked trying not to sound annoyed.

My Mum has been through a lot and so have we, so i guess it makes us really close. I try not to be angry or rude to her, but today has been so stressful.
"He went to his friends house. He will be back soon. Why?" She asked, looking up. Her ice blue eyes looked beautiful in the sunlight. That's the one thing that me and my brothers share with her. Our eyes. Other than that, we all look like our Dad. It sickens me to the stomach, seeing the similarities between us and Dad.

"Just asking, why is he even here anyway?Shouldn't he be in Uni?"

"Mia, have you forgotten about your own birthday? Your going to be 16 in 2 days." I had completely forgotton about my birthday. And I had to go buy Dean something aswell. Cons of being a twin, you have to share a birthday.
" Oh, I forgot. I'm going out. I need to get Dean something." I said, trying to make an escape.
"Sure honey, I'll see you when you get back." She looked back at her book giving me the chance to quickly run upstairs and have a shower but not washing my hair. I got changed, picked up my guitar, and then left the house. I hoped this would make me feel better.

What was supposed to be me buying something for my brother ended up with me spending $200 on myself. Atleast I remembered to get something for Dean. One time, I had completely forgotten to buy a present and had to use one of the smaller presents that Mum bought for him. Turned out that it was socks. He wasn't impressed considering he had got me an ipod.

I was going to play something now. Sometimes, when I was feeling bad, I would peform. People usually liked it and it made me feel good that not everyone would be horible like the people from my school. I got everything ready and then started singing.
