"I'm worried Joonie. I think Tae Tae is numb to this breakup, and he's not expressing himself about it. He's holding a lot in and it's not healthy." Noel voiced her concerns as she sat across Namjoon while engaging in a work lunch.
"What do you mean?"
Noel shrugged. "I don't know. He's just too quiet about it. Everything about him is quiet. I need him to cry or yell. Hell, even break something. He has to let his feelings out. I'm afraid he's going to explode."
Namjoon grinned at Noel's assessment. "People deal with things in different ways. Perhaps he's dealing with it and you can't tell. Taehyung suffers in silence. I've been trying to get him out of it for years, but he seems more open with you, though. He's expressive around you."
Noel shrugged. "I've been almost afraid to talk to him the way I used to because I don't want to trigger any memories of him and Jungkook." Noel stated.
"Don't change Noel. He's going to need his best friend for support." Namjoon reminded. "Tae's lucky to have you. I honestly never seen him so attached to anyone. If he wasn't gay, I would say he was your husband." Namjoon teased.
"He is my husband. He's my house husband and the closest anyone will ever be to that title." Noel laughed.
"Aren't you glad I put you two together? It was a match made in heaven." Namjoon gloated.
"Whatever." Noel rolled her eyes. "You should come by. You haven't visited in a while and I'm sure Tae would be happy to see you."
"We talk everyday Noel." Namjoon stated.
"Yeah, but talking and seeing are two different things. He needs his family around right now. I'm sure it would mean a lot to him. You should come over tonight! I'm going to text him now." Noel picked up her phone to text Taehyung and noticed a message from Jin. She released a long sigh.
"What? You're revoking my invitation now?" Namjoon mocked.
"No. Jin text me." Noel stated as her fingers were busy responding.
"Oh yeah. I've seen you talk to him for a while now. What's the deal?" Namjoon pried.
"He wants us to go out on a date and I keep telling him no but he was welcome to come to my apartment and we could talk about the future, naked." Noel grinned.
Namjoon frowned. "You won't go out on a date with him, but you will sleep with him?"
"Where have you been, Joonie? I am sleeping with him. That's all we've been doing, but he seems to want more. Why don't these things ever work out?" Noel shook her head.
"I've never known you to be a player." Namjoon lifted his brow.
"I'm not. He's the only one. We've been doing this for six months and I don't understand the change now."
"Maybe he does wants something more with you. Maybe-wait, maybe..." Namjoon gasped, "he actually likes you. Oh, would you imagine that?" Namjoon mocked.
"I can do without your sarcastic attitude, sir." Noel rolled her eyes.
"We both know the only reason you even agreed to be with him in the first place was so you didn't have to worry about sleeping with your roommate, but in case you haven't noticed..." Namjoon leaned in closer to her. "Your roommate is gay." he whispered.
"Thank you for that unnecessary information." She muttered. "Oh, and speaking of his highness, he said yes, come over. So there. You're coming home with me." Noel smiled. "Maybe you can figure your cousin out and what he's doing to deal with that asshole that broke his heart."
Namjoon sighed. "I don't get honestly. Jungkook loves Taehyung. Why would he do that?" He wondered.
"I'm not sure but if I see him, I'm slapping him on sight." Noel sneered.
