"I'm the first to know?" Jihyeon crossed her arms against her chest. "Why is that? Because I told you this would happen." She asked.

Taehyung grinned. "Whatever Ji." He turned away as his steps lead him to a seat on the nearest sofa. Jihyeon followed.

"Don't whatever me! Do you remember how flustered you were after meeting her? Because I certainly do." Ji smirked.

Taehyung huffed. "Can you not? I'm sure you're not here to talk about my..."

"Future wife?" Jihyeon smirked while her perfectly shaped eyebrows danced teasingly.

Taehyung's tapered stare seethed while dismissing her taunt. "-relationship. Anyway, happy to see you always, but curious about why you're here. How did you escape your parents?"

"I told them I was going out for a walk. If they miss me, they will call, but they probably figured I came to find you. I'm sorry about dinner. It was unnecessary as usual." Jihyeon rolled her eyes from her recall.

Taehyung sighed as the memories played back to him. "Just another night with the Kims, right?" He humored though underlying the ridicule of the night.

"Why don't you tell them about you and Noel? Then maybe this will finally end." A slither of hope lied in Jihyeon's suggestion, but Taehyung was quick to shake his head. He wasn't about to surrender to the pretentious behavior of his parents.

"Absolutely not. This won't end just because I have a girlfriend? It doesn't matter who I'm with Ji. There will always be something."

Jihyeon sighed. "Well, I would really like it if you decide something soon because..." In that moment, Jihyeon reached in her pocket and pulled out a beautiful diamond solitaire. "Yoongi and I are getting married."

Taehyung's heart fluttered as tears rushed through his chocolate eyes, "Y-You are? Ji!" He dashed over to his sister, tightly hugging her with an overwhelming feeling of happiness. "I'm so happy for you two!"

A tear streamed down Jiheyon's face, feeling warm with love from her big brother. "Thank you Tae!" She hugged him back.

They both drew away from the hug, gleeful from the announcement. Jihyeon took her brother's hand in hers. "We haven't announced it yet because we are planning an engagement party to reveal it there. That's why I'm not wearing the ring yet." She explained as she slipped it back into her purse. With heavy eyes, Jihyeon's attention returned to her brother. "It's important to me to have you by my side. I want us as family together. Please Tae, try to work things out. I love you and you're the only brother I have. I don't want to lose you."

Taehyung's lips pressed for a small smile while the playback of Jiheyon's word rotated in his thoughts. He loved his sister more than anything and hearing her plea was worth considering the current situation of the relationship with their parents. He lifted her hand to his lips for a soft peck. "I'll consider it, okay?"

Jihyeon smiled. "That's all I ask. So, I should get back. Mom and Dad are leaving Thursday but Yoongi is coming here so I will be here till the weekend. We should meet up, Noel included." Jihyeon stood up and walked towards the door.

"That would be great, sis." Taehyung agreed, smiling as he imagined such an evening.

"I think you love her." Jihyeon nodded with a cunning smile toward her brother. "She's is the one who got to you and if that's case, don't let her go." She kissed her brother on the cheek before departing.

Taehyung sighed as he locked the door behind her. "Yeah, I think I do too."
