49| The One For Me

Taehyung instantly locked his fingers into hers and brought her closer to him. His eyes swept her features before landing back to her gaze. He reached for her other hand and circled them both around his neck as he held her waist. Taehyung rested his forehead on Noel's, basking in this comfort he's missed. "I'm sorry." His whisper was deep as he attempted to soothe over their quarrel.

Noel gulped as the quickening of her heart intensified. "I'm sorry too." She spoke low.

"No..." Taehyung shook his head. "You did nothing wrong. I didn't keep my promise, and I overreacted. I'm sorry I hurt you."

"Yes, but I shouldn't have called you an asshole." She rustled through a whisper.

"I was. Please forgive me Elle." He pleaded.

"I forgive you but Tae Tae..."

"Elle..." Taehyung interrupted. "I was always afraid no one would love me; that maybe I wasn't deserving, but you changed that. You are the one for me."

Noel smiled. "I'm the man of your dreams?" She teased.

"You're the woman of dreams and I'm so in love with you." Taehyung corrected.

Noel gasped as joyful tears streamed down her face. "I'm so in love with you, Taehyung." She uttered lowly.

Words imprisoned in their minds for reasons of risking to explore their unclaimed destiny now sung a beautiful melody between them. "I've missed you sweetheart." Taehyung spoke as he took her lips to his, soft to allow his mind to savor every caress of her but soon profound to epitomize the love that's been aching for her. He lifted her, carrying her in his embrace to his bedroom.

Noel clutched her lips to bite back the urge to scream, whimpering, to suppress it. The heat began pooling below as she holds tightly to Taehyung, trembling beneath him. "Taehyung..." Noel breathed, reaching the limit as she released.

Noel narrowed her gaze at him, sensing an underlying tone. "You want to go shopping tomorrow, don't you?"

Taehyung couldn't help the chuckle that escaped him. "Damn, you really are the one for me."
