34| Who Am I

Soft moans surround the ambiance as the echoes of small candles flickered throughout the room. A deep grunt rumbled from Taehyung's lips as he hovered over Noel, gazing into her eyes, falling lost into the passion engulfing them both. Her legs trembled from his long strokes, deepening their sex and feeling as she was about to burst from ecstasy.

"I want you like this always, sweetheart." Taehyung whispered between them before he leaned in to kiss her gently. Every cell in his body was urging him to increase his pace, making him shudder at her pleasure.

Noel couldn't help but clothed herself into the pure bliss of his kiss and touch delivered from the man she called hers. The elevated feelings coursing through her for him entwined with her heartbeat that called for him. Tears filled her eyes, trickling down the corners as she gulped from them. She whimpered in order to suppress her sobs.

Taehyung lifted to see the tears in Noel's eyes. "Please don't cry sweetheart." He leaned in to kiss them tenderly before his lips trailed down to her neck. His pace grew fast and uneven, but never once derailed the pleasure.

Noel brought her hands to his raven tresses, her finger plowing through them and lightly tugging on his strands. "T-Tae..." Her body trembled more during their staggered breaths as they both reached their climax.

Taehyung's weighted body rested on top of Noel's as she held him closer to her. He pressed his head against her chest and sighed as he regained a steady breath. "My parents are in town. It's who I was with tonight." Taehyung spoke as the time passed. Taehyung could hear the change in Noel's heartbeat from this information. He gulped before speaking again. "Unfortunately, the dinner ended before it even began."

Noel released a sigh as her eyes wandered around. "What happened?"

Taehyung sat up to face her. "My mother degrading me every opportunity she had. My father not speaking up and my sister being sorry for me. An endless cycle of me questioning who am I. Nothing new." His eyes filled before blinking, caused warm tears to stream down his face.

"Tae..." Noel called, while her fingers slithered through his ebony tresses. "I'm sorry, honey, and I hate this for you. I will never understand why your parents are this way with you."

Taehyung sniffed. "They never wanted me. Do you know how many times I've been told I was a mistake?"

"That's a horrible thing to say." Noel stated as she wiped Taehyung's tears.

"They keep asking me about you. The only one who knows about you is Ji and I haven't told her everything. I haven't told her about us now." Taehyung spoke.

"You don't have to tell her or anyone if you're not ready and I will do the same." Noel assured.

"Does that bother you?" Taehyung wondered.

Noel frowned a bit. "Why would it?"

Taehyung took a hard swallow. "I've been portraying myself as something that I am not sure of anymore."

"Taehyung..." Noel spoke lowly. "You fell in love with whom your heart drew you to. It doesn't matter who it was. You're caring and compassionate. You've dealt with so much hurt and betrayal from the ones closest to you and you still radiate strength. Honey, you are a conqueror. That's what you are and what you will always be."

Noel brushed more tears away from his cheek. "Please smile for me and maybe a visit to Gucci will be in our near future." She smiled.

A sound of happiness echoed in Taehyung's wide grin until his gaze lowered as he gripped his teeth against his lip. "Only if we can make it out of bed."
