It had been nearly two years since Annabelle had seen or spoken to Tobias, and there wasn't a day that missed where she didn't miss him. But the time she had been waiting for was approaching, and she was beginning to understand the nerves Tobias was feeling.
It was the day of the aptitude test and Annabelle sat on a stool, her mother combing her hair and telling the younger girl it was alright to be nervous, the Kennedy woman told her daughter of her feelings during this time in her life, not going into full detail but letting her daughter know, the test is always right.
When Annabelle's mom had finished with her daughters hair, she opened the mirror that was in front of them, letting the girl have a few minutes to look at herself.
Annabelle saw her dark brown eyes, void of any emotion, she saw her dark brown hair french braided back into a low bun, she saw her unruly eyebrows she'd never been allowed to pluck, she saw slight creases around her lips from always having to smile and she saw her olive skin missing its usual glow.
"You look gorgeous," Her mom said, placing her hand on her daughters shoulder and quickly shutting the mirror so Annabelle could no longer see her reflection.

Annabelle sat on a table full of Abnegation kids, nervously waiting for their name to be called. She looked around, the Erudite reading, the Dauntless being loud, the Amity and Candor having light conversation and the Abnegation just sat in silence. It bugged Annabelle the faction she grew up in was so boring, she yearned for excitement, and she knew it would be coming soon.
"Annabelle Kennedy," A voice called, and the dark haired girl quickly stood up making her way towards in and in the room where her test would be taking place.
The room was full of mirrors, and Annabelle stared in it longer than she thought was acceptable before turning to the Dauntless woman stood by a computer and chair, who was looking at her in amusement.
"Something funny?" The sixteen year old asked the older girl, who's brows raised in shock at the response.
"Just you're the first to not immediately look away from the mirror," She answered, gesturing for Annabelle to walk over to her.
Annabelle obeyed the gesture and shrugged in response to the woman's answer. She sat down in the lab like chair, and the Dauntless woman placed wires on her forehead and neck before she gave her a vial with a water like solution inside. Annabelle looked at the woman, who only nodded, before drinking the solution.

When Annabelle jolted up, the test administrator and her computer were gone and Annabelle was all alone in the room full of mirrors.
After wandering around for a bit, fully realising the room was empty and there was no way out, she stopped in front of her reflection. Annabelle raised her hand which her reflection copied, she placed her hand on the mirror feeling the coolness of it only for her hand to be grabbed.
Annabelle was pulled through the mirror to where there was 2 pillars, one with cheese on and another with a knife.
"Choose," Her reflection spoke, Annabelle remained still, getting over the initial shock of what was going on. "Choose," It spoke again, this time Annabelle looked at her choices, quickly grabbing the knife, thinking it to be more than a block of cheese. After she picked it up her reflection and the pillars disappeared, and were replaced by a young girl dressed in Abnegation clothes.
Annabelle hid the knife behind her back not wanting to frighten the young girl, who widely smiled at her. Annabelle was about to say something when a dog appeared not to far from the girl.
"A puppy!" The child yelled running towards the dog, only to run away again when the dog growled and began to charge for the the young girl.
Annabelle didn't even have time to comprehend the situation before running and lunging towards the dog, the knife she held finding its way into the dogs stomach/chest area. The dog lay there wimping as blood poured out of its wound, Annabelle looked around for the young girl, but she was nowhere in sight.
