"Alright, listen up," The man who Annabelle assumed to be Dauntless leader stood on the side of the building began, gaining the attention of every initiate who stood on the roof before him.
Annabelle, Beatrice and the Candor girl all walked forward, slightly nervous but also excited for a new chapter of their life to begin.
"I'm Eric. I'm one of your leaders," he stated? proving Annabelle's assumptions to be correct. "If you want to enter Dauntless, this is the way in." He looked down the side of the building slightly smirking.
Annabelle continued to look forward but could feel Beatrice's stare on the side of her face. Annabelle wouldn't blame the girl if she was scared, Annabelle was maybe a little nervous herself.
"If you don't have the guts to jump, then you don't belong in Dauntless," Eric continued, Beatrice turning back to him and Annabelle biting her lip slightly at the thought of what was down there.
"Is there water at the bottom or something?" A voice shouted at the Dauntless leader. Annabelle's head turned to the voice to see an Erudite boy, she wasn't surprised he was asking questions considering where he's transferred from.
"I guess you'll find out," Eric said slowly, making the Erudite boy looked confused, "or not."
"We just jumped. They want us to jump again?" The Candor girl who had yet to properly be introduced to Annabelle said, as she faced her and Beatrice.
"Surely it can be that bad," Annabelle responded not really scared of what was down there or what would happen.
"Someone's gotta go first." Eric said causing the three girls heads to immediately turn back to him, "Who's it gonna be?"
