Ch 7 Forever Fall

Y/N: Ahhh!!!

Y/N falls to the ground from the bed. Normally he wasn't scared but in this instance he was sleeping in the opposite direction when falling. Looking up he realizes he was in Ruby's bed.

Y/N: Note to self don't sleep in Ruby's bed. Wait how did I even get up there in the first place?

Ruby: (waking up) I don't know; I was too tired to remember what happened.

Y/N: Your bed is a death trap that defies the laws of physics. He says pointing at the bed.

Ruby: (looks down at Y/N) Stop overreacting it's not that bad. Well maybe a little unstable. (the bed starts creaking back and fourth) Fine sleeping is done on your bed.

Y/N: I'll make the coffee while you wake the others up. (yawns) We got a long day ahead of us doing that field trip today.

Ruby: (burying her face on bed) Five more minutes.

Y/N: Don't make me take away the chocolate chip cookie creamer.

Ruby: (sticks her tongue out) Fine.

Y/N: I'm doing this for your own good. It's call tough lov....zzz

He falls asleep momentarily only to jerk up once his face hits a desk. While Ruby woke everyone else up they got ready.

Asher: I feel terrible.

Y/N: You look terrible and also even have bloodshot eyes.

Asher: I think Weiss had it the worse than all of us combined.

Weiss was not her usual self with having bags under her eyes which was was exemplified with a sluggish walk. It must have gotten to her because she didn't said a comment back to us.

Yang: I guess she wasn't kidding about the whole needing beauty sleep thing.

Blake: To make things worse she didn't even win the match.

As this is happening Ruby is outside the room waiting for the rest of the team to follow suit. She spots Jaune right at his doorway.

Ruby: Hey, Jaune! Long time, no see! Did you lock yourself out again?

Jaune: Oh, uh, nope! (raises his Scroll, attempting to laugh) I got it right here.

Ruby: So! Where have you been? You haven't been yourself lately.

Jaune: I, uh... (he tries to come up with something, but just sighs and lowers his head) I messed up. I did something I shouldn't have, and now Cardin has me on a leash, and Pyrrha won't even talk to me, and I'm starting to think coming to this school was a bad idea. (presses his back to his team's door and slides down to the floor in depression) I'm a failure.

Ruby: Nope!

Jaune: Nope?

Ruby: Nope! You're a leader now, Jaune. You're not allowed to be a failure.

Jaune: But what if I'm a failure at being a leader?

Ruby: (thinks about it for a moment, then gives her answer) Nope!

Jaune: (laughs) You know, you're not the easiest person to talk to about this kind of stuff.

Ruby: Nope! Jaune, maybe you were a failure when you were a kid... (Jaune groans and sinks lower to the ground) ... and you might've even been a failure the first day we met! But, you can't be one now. You know why?
