Ch 10 Odd Encounter

With the sun rising it's rays pass through the window only to hit Y/N's face. Being on the receiving end of it wasn't pleasant to say the least. Waking up dazed Y/N look around his surroundings. Doing so only to realize that Ruby was once again hugging his arm while drooling on it slightly. Y/N attempted to stand up only for Ruby to hold him tighter while muttering in her sleep.

Ruby: (while sleeping) No Zwei. You won't escape from me this time.

Y/N: Great, too think I should have thought of something by now to get out of this.

Y/N continues to struggle before giving up. Now he could have easily gotten up, but doesn't want to wake Ruby up in the process. They did went on a mission and there first at that. His thinking that they would be tried. In the corner of his eye he sees Asher waking up.

Y/N: Asher, Asher. Asher!

Asher: (waking up) Huh? What's happening?

Y/N: What time is it?

Asher: Stuck again? You know it was worth it going through all that effort to get you two together. Haven't gotten hit as you always seem to get stuck one way or another.

Y/N: Oh haha. Yeah just laugh at my expense. So now can you tell me the time?

Asher: (looks at scroll) It's seven, so you know what that means. Thirty more minutes before the team has to get ready. Now if you excuse me I have a bathroom calling for me.

Y/N didn't attempt calling out his name as he knew too well that it would be in vain. He was stuck with his thoughts and Ruby right beside him sleeping for another thirty minutes. As much as he did enjoy this time with her; well his arm was asleep. Left with no choice he was flailing his arm to get the blood flow going.

Ruby: (waking up only to see Y/N seemingly moving his arm wildly) Sooo.... what exactly are you doing?

Y/N: Uhhh I can answer that. You see my arm might have fallen asleep.

Ruby thinks for a few seconds only to look to her side and realize what she was doing. She was hugging Y/N's arm.

Ruby: Sorry. (lets go of arm) It's just that I find it easier to sleep hugging something.

Y/N: It's okay Rubes. Now I am gonna get ready before you all do, so can you wake them up?

Ruby: Yeah.

With Y/N getting ready he hears moments later a whistle going off followed by groaning. He thinks about it only to just continue as he did technically say to wake them. After they all got ready they head off through the hallways.

Blake: So what class is today?

Ruby: (looking through scroll) It says here that it is Oobleck.

Asher: For a moment I thought it was going to be Port's class.

Y/N: I don't know how Weiss does it but even I can't go through it. I mean how hasn't he run out of stories.

They walked in seeing Professor Oobleck gliding through class making preparations for today's class. After seeing FireTeam Mystic and Team RWBY he stops and speeds up to them.

Oobleck: A pleasure as always seeing you six arriving in class early for today's lesson.

Asher: Well we can't risk being late after that happened once in combat class.

Oobleck: Though Ms. Glynda's punishments may be far fetched but it is for your own good. It has made it so that students are statistically arriving in time for class.
