Ch 17 Dr. Oobleck Again

The sun was rising and Y/N woke up. He went through his usual schedule but then realized he was able to actually get up. Looking to his side he saw that Ruby was not holding him down in a hug like she usually does.

Y/N: Okay think Y/N. I was actually able to get up which never happens. Something is off.

He first puts his hand over the bed to check if she somehow got under the sheets. Y/N sat on the bed about to get up when he looked down to only see Ruby sleeping on the floor.

He was staring until he heard of the sound of Asher waking up. He looks towards Y/N to see Ruby on the floor.

Asher: Looks like the dance got to her. That and the fact that she is a heavy sleeper.

Y/N: (puts pillow beneath Ruby's head) Can't blame her for it.

Asher: Well you are usually stuck at this time so I guess I am still gonna go to the bathroom first.

Y/N: Fine. Just do not take long in there.

Asher: (waves it off) What makes you say that?

Y/N: You are holding a rubber duck in your hand right now.

Asher: Lieutenant Squeakers is a lifesaver for your information.

After that Asher left to go the bathroom leaving Y/N puzzled that he named it. Then again there is the the fact that everybody seemingly names their weapons.

Y/N: Wait a minute. He made that duck of his outrank me!

Asher: (from the restroom yelling) Yes and I can promote him to a Captain!

Y/N: Who knew it would cone to this.

Laying right beside Ruby Y/N gets out a scroll looking at the student papers of the events last night. It detailed from how the event last night to his special announcement to Ruby.

Y/N: When did Asher had the time to do an interview?

Y/N reads more into it as a student questioned him about being a DJ. One of the questions ask about when did he become one as none of the students knew. Asher merely responded saying that it was learned yesterday as he was helping Y/N with his plan. He continued going that it was all thanks to the internet.

Y/N: I swear it seems like he is doing this on purpose now.

Asher gets out of the bathroom leaving Y/N to enter. The rest of them were waken up as an announcement happened.

PA System: All classes for first years will be canceled. You are to report to the auditorium with your teams your first class time.

You get out of the restroom changed leaving the rest of them to get ready. With that they were walking to the destination.

Blake: How curious. It must be quite serious if they plan on canceling the classes.

Weiss: Did you four really have to bring your weapons? In all likelihood it is probably just an announcement of some kind.

Yang: Mine are just on my arms so it really does not make any difference.

Ruby: And mine is compact which is easily carried.
