"Guys, I would like to propose a toast." Sam said, holding his glass up. We were currently out with everyone, including Mark and a few of his friends, celebrating Colby and i's engagement. "Colby, I've known you for a very long time. I've seen you at you're worst, and been with you through every possible stage in life. You're like my brother, and I couldn't possibly pick any other person for you to be with. I can tell by just the look in you're eyes, that you are completely in love with Aria. And Aria, I couldn't pick a better guy for you to be with. And I know for a fact, Colby will take care of you. He will do everything in his power to protect you." Sam said.
"So, I would like to toast to probably the cutest couple, and I can garentee that no one in this roommate has as much of a bond as you two. Congratulations brother, you've finally made it in life." Sam said, raising his glass. Everyone followed his actions, I cheered my glass with Colby and he smiled happily as he drank out of his glass.
He pulled the glass away and kissed my cheek. I leaned into his touch and rested my head on his shoulder as his arm went around mine.
I leaned my mouth up to his ear and whispered into it. "I'm glad it's you." I then placed a kiss below his ear. He smiled and leaned his mouth to mine. "I wouldn't have it any other way." He said. I blushed and bit my lip.
"Okay, my turn." Tara said, standing up. "I've known you Aria for a very short amount of time, but you've become one of my best friends. I'm more than happy for you guys, and I wish you great things." She smiled.
"Devyn, save your speech for the wedding please?" I laughed, knowing it was going to be long. "I was just going to say, I'm happy for you guys. I haven't seen Colby this happy with a girl in, like, ever." She laughed lightly.
I looked to Mark and he was smiling lightly. I smiled back at him, and in that moment I think we had a mental agreement. I wasn't sure what it was, but it was something I had never thought of us having.
