Author's Note:

Hey guys! I decided to start up another fic because I thought about it and got too exiced!! Some chapters of any other fics will be delayed which I am sorry about. The rate of chapters is really about the mood I'm in. This fic takes place in a parallel universe (it is a lot like our normal life) because I never read the comics and I don't know a everything about the back-story of tf2 and if it bothers you, don't read it. apologize in advance about absolutely any mistakes and if anything offends you (racism, stereotypes, ect.) it is not intentional. Like all my fics, bold lettering in "parenthesis) means it is a thought or comment of mine. If it is in "dialogue", the character speaking another language (it's gonna happen a lot.) So favorite, comment and most important, enjoy!

RED Scout's P.O.V

It is a normal night here at our base in Southern Texas. All that is different is it is pouring and we rarely ever get rain but other than that, completely normal. Then there was a knock on the door.

I am the closest to the door, so that means I get the door (we started a rule about that). When I opened the door, no one was there. I took a look around, no one. Then I looked to the ground and there was a newborn in it's carrier at my feet.

It has a pink blanket with means that she is a girl, but other than that I knew nothing bout her. She looked vaguely familiar though. The first thing one I saw her was take her inside so she didn't freeze.

As I went inside, I started to draw in the attention of the whole RED team. I noticed a letter on top of the blanket that is a little wet but still readable. It has my name written in capitol letters. I sat down and took the letter and started reading it.

Dear Scout,

I know that this is probably a shock to you, but this child is yours. She was born 5 days ago at the Manvel Community Hospital (this is actually a town in Texas, I know nothing about it other than it exists.) She has no name yet because I wanted you to choose her name.

I am leaving her with you because we both know that she would have a better life with you. I hope you understand. Her birth certificate is enclosed in the envelope.

With Love, Your ex,

Selena.

I sat there with my head in my hands, staring at the baby, frustrated. I know that Selena was right about the child living a better life with me and my family but by the looks of this letter, she wasn't going to be a part of our child's life. It is up to me now.

Meanwhile, the entire team was circled around me, confused of the whole situation. The long silence was broken by Sniper.

"Can someone please tell me, what is going on?" He said with a mixture of confusion and annoyance. "I have a kid" I said not looking away from the baby.

"Well does she have a name?" Sniper asked with the same tone of voice. "Not yet, I need to give her one." I replied, still in the same position I've been in.

For the next hour the whole RED team was shrouded in thought, thinking and suggesting names. "Vhat abut Kristin?" Said Medic's 3 year old daughter, Hilda, who barley spoke english what-so-ever.

"That's a boys' name. I do like the Chris part so, what do you all think about Christine?" I wondered out loud. The rest of the team seemed to agree, even spy who was surprisingly there to help for some reason. I don't think he even likes kids.
