It's Never Too Late

(WARNING: Very dark and depressing chapter! However there is a VERY VERY IMPORTANT massage in it somewhere, so I recommend you read through it (or at least skim) for that reason.)

Aussie's P.O.V

I sighed and looked up at clock in my room to see it's almost midnight.

I'm lucky I'm still alive, I owe it to my father.

After everyone all got in and saw the scene, I tired to explain the scene to them, of course no one believed me. Then Dad stepped in and managed to convince about half of the team that I wasn't the one who killed Jade.

The team is going to wait until if and when Hilda gets back and we get some working medi-guns around here to decide my fate.

Until then I'm going to be stuck here, in my room until then.

My thoughts got shattered when Belle practically burst into my room in burning rage.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SISTER'S BODY?!" She screamed in my face and I looked at her, very confused.

"What are ya even talkin' about?" I asked, not wanting to deal with this whore.

"Well about twenty minutes ago, she was laying dead on a metal table wiz a hole zrough her head." Belle said. "AND. NOW. SHE'S. GONE!"

"And ya convicting me of being behind this... Why?" I asked, only wanting to get some sleep before sunrise.

"You're zee one who killed her..." Belle said in that stereotypical mean girl voice.

"Okay. So let me get this straight..." I started. "You're blamin' me for messin' with ya dead sister's body purely because I'm the one who killed her? That's literally one of the stupidest things I've heard today..."

"Well..." Belle said, her face a little bit red. "Zen who else do you zink moved her body?!"

"Well it's not impossible that she got more lives and decided to come back when no one was around and then just left." I said.

"So you're saying zat she just got up, and walked away." Belle's voice went down to a low whisper. "And you zink I'm the stupid one...."

"Well what else do ya think coulda happened? I mean what would anyone want with a dead body. I mean it's extremely likely that's what happened-" I said but got cut short.

"Zat means she would've broken zee rules! She could be kicked off zee team!" Belle yelled and I shrugged.

"Tell me, what else do ya think happened?" I said and Belle looked at me.

"You know, regardless if Jade actually killed herself. You mine as well follow her. It'd be the best choice for you and the team. It'll keep you from screwing up just as badly as you did last time." Belle said, I just kept my mouth shut and watched her turn and leave.

"I suppose you're right." I sighed, everything finally getting to me, all coming at me at once and hitting me hard until I finally broke.
