Facing Adversity chapter six

When we arrived at Lexi's office
To fill out the paperwork for our new home. So many thoughts run my mind feeling every possible emotion out there, l'm guessing picking on Lena's presence. I love my wife so much that it kills me, she was one of greatest supporters when l loss my battle with cancer, she never allowed me to give up. Even though l wanted to throw in the towel. She has been through her own. share of pain. But it made  her stronger and more determined. We wanted a place to lay down.
A foundation for our children
To teach them to never gave up there  your dreams and let nothing stand in their way. As l sit here thinking how far we came, looking back on how we met and stuck it out. When I first met Lena, l was reserved.
I bumped into her coming out of the library. She had brown and black curly hair and she had the most gorgeous Grey eyes. I was instantly attractive to her. I said to myself am l gay. When I introduced myself to her as Stephine foster. And she told me her name was Lena Elizabeth Adams. We shook hands we felt the Electric shock between us
She invited out for coffee, which l gladly accepted. Lena had told alot. about her life and what she was studying to become a pediatric nurse. I was impress she wanted to work with babies. And I told her wanted to teach college English. Lena and l became best friends, as time went on,
We knew that we couldn't deny the feelings we had for each other. The times we spend. together studying at the library
I remember us going out to celebrate my twenty-first birthday. And Lena admitted she was in love with me, l ask Lena to be my girlfriend that night. And she gladly accepted. After we left the resturant that night and went back to Lena's apartment,
We made love for the first time
Since we both had never slept with guys. We had no idea what we were doing. The more we had sex, the better it became. By the time we graduated from college
We were secretly engaged, we wore different rings. So people wouldn't figure out she was my girlfriend, l moved in with Lena luckily she live a mile away from campus. We didn't draw attention to ourselves.

So here we are years later happy and still in love today. I cried now cause l held in it so long

She needed copies of my driving licence, birth certificates, social security cards of everyone in the house holes l'm glad l had Lena's and Francesca's. Information on me. I wrote out a check for the amount of house we would move in the next month.
Lena and l had perfect credit
I sign us up for a three-year mortgage, in case if things didn't work out. So the house came added features, with a washer and dryer, stove, refrigerator
Lexi told me everything was practically brand new, we ended getting a deal on the place
All l had to dish out was three thousand dollars. Not huh.
We have more saved in. our 401K
Along with other accounts never touched.  Lena and have l  house in Orlando Florida, it's a vacation we take trips down there in the summer.
