"hello people who are still watching Nina's channel even if she hasn't posted a video in months."

"I SAID I WAS SORRY."

(marina yelled off camera, trying to make zendaya stop talking. the duo had sat down on her bed, an impromptu video coming up.)

"I actually have no excuse for this, except I'll probably be around more often now that my secret project is underway."

"and given we both had a couple of hours off, welcome to the chaos that this video is going to be."

(in true friends fashion, they started laughing for absolutely no reason. though she hadn't said out loud, Nina asked for this to keep Amélia out of her mind. ever since they got back from LA, her old friend had stopped talking to her consistently and it hurt.)

"what the hell are you both doing?"

(Tom had been in the kitchen when a crash sounded, three cats escaping through a semi open door. he had only come out of Z's insistence, something about a text sent by May claiming the girl had been in dire need of company. their mismatched group of friends had overlapped and it was a beautiful thing.)

"should I be concerned?"

(marina wanted to die right then and there. with an old one direction tee halfway off, and some nineties make up on, it wasn't exactly the look she hoped to have in front of her crush.)

"get out, get out get out get out!"

"come on, it sounds like fun in here."

(Z watched carefully as Nina hid the embarrassing clothing under a pillow and hurried to wash her face. it looked like she was trying to impress a certain someone.)

"you can stay on one condition."

(she looked at her phone to check one of the dares people had sent on twitter, one being the reason one direction had even come up.)

"you have to hold one of the boys for the rest of our night."

"oh, come on. cats are evil."

"they're also my children so I'd be careful on how you speak to them."

(his facade crumbled as the girl cuddled cat number three judging by the color of his collar. it was nearly impossible to remain serious when there was a pet being shoved in your face, it's owner demanding an apology. the video would be such a mess.)

"fine. I am sorry for hurting your feelings, Baghera."

"and?"

"and I'll kill your human for this later."
