"oh my god, stop this." Martina had her phone out, extensively documenting their shenanigans for Eileen, who was unable to make it.

given how she was slowly recovering, Marina thought it would be best to have her girls over and get grieving done with. they had cried as she said exactly what happened, trash talked the male population as a whole then backtracking when they'd remembered their significant others. right now they were getting ready for Jake's premiere in her apartment while old songs played.

"stop what?" an annoyed red head watched as the video shook due to an overly excited aunt turning around. "telling our friend how you are in looooooove?"

"I'm definitely not there yet."

"yeah right. you came back from your little date grinning like a fool."

as she gazed around these people who became another part of a huge mismatched family, Marina thought all was well. sure, there were a number of things that could go wrong but it was life.
