(Thomas smiled as if it was a beautiful sunny day, his personal favorite, not a grey world. their interaction at the somewhat party they had had made his heart soar, even if May kept telling him to give her time.)

NINA

thankfully, I am responsible
for the introductory bit of it.

so it is mostly general questions

but I have tweaked some to better
fit them.

(Adam didn't know his boss that much, though he was working on it. however everyone in the room could see someone was responsible for a new energy around her.)

TOM

(she was nearly biting her own fingers to relieve some of the tension, which prompted Adam to give her some hard candy. Tom made it impossible for her to avoid liking him.)

(she wanted to throw her phone out of the window, and maybe herself with it. vulnerability was something so foreign to her that it felt wrong. it had resulted in hateful comments showing up in her instagram so much that it was now Adam's duty to delete them. being vulnerable lead to the heartbreak named Daniel and the uncertainty named Amélia. but the hopeless romantic in her found a way to peek through.)

(was it stupid that she was almost crying? with the exception of May and her parents, no one had known the full extent of how damaged life had made her these past years. Marina had worked so hard to become this person and it felt unfair to let the boy having feelings without knowing the truth.)

(Sorry for the slightly longer wait but my home life is in chaos with mom recovering from surgery and me binging Queer Eye, I'm trying to finish this story as fast as possible. Hopefully by the end of the month.)
